I initially approached Fairfield to handle the sale of my apartment in Watford based upon the consistent strength of their online reviews, so it seems apposite that I should now highlight the excellent service that I received from them throughout the whole process. I had the property on the market about a year before with another local agent, from whom I received terrible service (as, indeed, I did from the conveyancer that they recommended). I therefore had some trepidation when putting the property on sale again; however, my experience with Fairfield was completely different. In particular, I want to highlight the outstandingly attentive support that I received from Mr Allan Carr and his team. From the very outset I was reassured, kept constantly informed and observed nothing but the utmost professionalism from them. In addition, Allan connected me with an excellent conveyancer who was also a great reassurance. Despite the ups and downs of the market over the past year, the team at Fairfield worked tirelessly to secure a sale for me, enabling my family to move on with the next stage of our lives. I really am most grateful to Allan and everyone at Fairfield for having delivered such a high quality of customer care, with a genuinely human touch (which seems to be increasingly hard to find these days!). I cannot recommend Fairfield highly enough to other potential sellers.

My first contact with Fairfield Estates was in 2020 when I purchased my first property in the middle of the Covid 19 lockdown period. Matt and team helped to make an extremely stressful process so much more manageable. When I found myself having to move three years later for family reasons, I did not hesitate to approach Fairfield Estates about letting out the property. We liked the property, and Lucy was very helpful. However, our three-star rating is due to a few issues we experienced: 1. The advertised move-in date was listed as November 1st, but we only received final confirmation three days before this date. While our application mentioned an application deadline of November 15th, this wasn’t clearly explained to us during our initial visit for ID verification, so we were unaware of its exact implications until just days before November 1st. 2. We had requested a tenancy agreement of at least two years, but we were offered only a one-year contract. 3. On two occasions when we called to confirm the tenancy agreement duration, the office staff seemed unsure. One representative provided us with incorrect information, likely due to a lack of familiarity with our case. Overall, while we appreciate the property and assistance, clearer communication from the office would have made the process smoother.

I've only moved house twice and both times have been challenging for want of a better word! The difference on this occasion was Fairfield Estates, specifically Matt Holmes and his team in the Watford office. From the initial viewings with Michael, to the regular, informative, friendly check-in's with Matt, I cannot rate this team highly enough for their professionalism, down to earth nature, calm manner under pressure and the ability to make the house buying process that bit smoother. As the buyer I wasn't the paying customer and yet I feel that I received such an amazing service. I would recommend Fairfield Estates without hesitation.
