GoogleHad a nightmare 6 months with Hong Kong buyers and their solicitors but with Tesh,s help from hamlet homes definitely made the journey easier . He kept us updated every step of the way and his best quality is he will always fight your corner. He will aim to get you the best price possible, but he is brutally honest at the same time , he tells you things you might not want to here about the harsh realities of selling your home but you need to hear them so you're not wasting your time and his . I can honestly say over the 6 months of knowing Tesh , he wasn't just an estate, who by the way I didn't hold them in very high regards at the start of this journey, but I can honestly say I can call him a friend who I would gladly buy him a pint if we were to ever cross paths .Tesh has changed my view about estate agents for the better , something I thought was impossible but he did it. We had some good chats Tesh and I along the way and his parents should be very proud of what a decent young man he has turned out to be. I wish Tesh and all his family a fruitful and prosperous life journey ahead .

GoogleThe staff at Hamlet Homes have always been most helpful and understanding. They have a large range of property to choose from and make sure that they are well maintained. I've spoken with the owner and his son a few times over the years and both are very approachable and understanding, they understand that times are hard right now and are always willing to listen and help if they can. Their positive attitude is also displayed by the staff would are just as helpful. Would definitely recommend.

After a nightmare few months renting a property through somewhere else, hamlets have answered all questions perfect and put my mind at rest that it will be a breeze renting through them! GoogleTHEY WILL ROB YOU OFF YOUR DEPOSIT NO MATTER WHAT. These people are daylight robbers and most corrupt people you will ever encounter. Do not believe any of favourable reviews as they are likely to be fake as this agency has a talent for corruption. There main weapon to rob you (and this is what they LITERALLY do) is a almost 200-page contract which you supposed to read in 5-min and then sign in their office. You expect it to be a common sense document, well you are in their claws now. Here are 2 of many examples: 1- Shower screen broke which should have been covered by home insurance but what happened was we were forced to pay £365.00 for 5x2 foot screen costing no more than £20.00. They will only accept work done by their mates which charge something like 10-times the normal price and the backhanders are never more sweeter. Bye the way, being careful is not going to help you as they will keep on finding things from contract you are doing WRONG. 2- They will make any excuse to keep your deposit. LITERALLY any excuse like a piece of paper left in BIN. All in all, unless you have money to burn...AVOID AVOID AVOID
Hi Qaisar, Many thanks for this very detailed review, but for the benefit of people reading this, let me clarify that the AST is a legally binding document and is about 30 pages in length not 200 pages. It is normally emailed 3 days before the tenancy is due to be signed, giving tenants ample time to review it. The AST clearly states that the tenant is responsible for all glass damage in the property, and as such the broken shower screen is considered under that clause. The replacement shower screen needs to be made from safety glass, and is more expensive than a large plain piece of glass. The safety glass ensures that in the unfortunate event of it being smashed, it tends to crumble and lessen the opportunity to cause injury, but there is a price to pay for this safety. And any works carried out must be carried out by competent trades people who are fully qualified and insured. All our contractors are fully transparent and their invoices are sent to the landlord for inspection, we would not be able to stay in business if the contractors were over charging or engaging in corrupt practices. At the end of the tenancy, all tenants belongings need to be removed, that includes emptying the dustbins and placing the contents into the large bins provided in the rear garden. It should come as no surprise to tenants that leaving rubbish behind will incur a cost as we would need to pay someone to clear up behind them.

GoogleI am only leaving 1 star due to not being able to do any!! The worst estate agents I have ever dealt with in my life. I am 67 now and have dealt with estate agents for the last 40 years. I arranged a viewing and they failed to turn up. I wasted 30 mins of my life waiting for them to arrive and when I called the office no one answered. I forgave them and went to view another property. This one I liked and I was accepted until a couple of days before the agreed moving in date they changed their minds. I told them it is not acceptable to change a written contract after we had agreed certain things and they said to me like Simon I am a nuisance. I have been robbed of my time and money due to these incompetent time wasters. I will be taking further action on this company. I will be taking legal action to recover my monies held by them unless they deliver them by hand to my front door with a written apology. All the best John

All funds were returned to you the same day as the reference came back and we have your email confirming receipt of these funds.

GoogleTIMEWASTERS AND INCOMPETENT!!!! I had an appointment today at 9am to view a property to rent. I was told beforehand to ring 30 minutes before the appointment time and leave a message and someone will pick up the message and meet me at the property. I rang the number and a message said, "Sorry this mailbox does not accept messages!" Needless to say I waited at the property for 30 minutes and no one turned up! Thanks Hamlet Homes for completely wasting my time and effort! AVOID THESE JOKERS!!!!

GoogleI cannot fault the service provided to me by everyone at Hamlet Homes. I was treated throughout with courtesy and any query I raised was promptly answered. I was kept informed of progress during my application for tenancy either by phone or email and they could not have done anymore for me. I am only too pleased to go on record saying what a fantastic service they certainly provided to me and by "they" I do mean everyone employed there. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO ANY FUTURE TENANT !!!!

GoogleWould highly recommend Hamlet Homes, I haven't had any issues with them from start to finish. They respond to emails and everything is straightforward. Their fault reporting and repair is perfect - if there is a fault with a property, it won't take them long to get it fixed. I would say their service is flawless, I have no complaints.

GoogleI have been a landlord for over 35 years and during this time i have not come across any agency which come near Hamlet in terms of thier knowedgle , experience and their personal nature . Furthermore they produce results which no other agents were able to achive. i would highly recommend them to any landlord who wants a trust worthly agents that has it all ! well done keep up the good work.

The rental market in our area is crazy and we were getting no where trying to find somewhere to rent on a short term basis whilst my house sale went through.
