A huge thank you to all of the team at Gascoigne Halman, Lymm. Sam, Paula, Debbie and Sarah each helped make our purchase so smooth and stress-free staying in regular contact, giving us great advice and always being at the other end of the phone. When viewing the property, we were put in touch with the fantastic mortgage advisor, Hayley, who really looked after us assisting me with my mortgage and my partner’s remortgage every step of the way. We honestly couldn’t have asked for better service. Just to add to it all, when picking up our keys today, our dog was very well looked after in the office with lots of treats. Terrible experience with this company

Terrible experience with this company. Had to fight for my deposit which they made unnecessarily difficult. They supported a landlord who said the property was uninhabitable when the independent check out report confirmed as 'good'. 6 months to get deposit back from TDS who awarded us £2,500 of the deposit and the landlord £100 after he tried to claim for £4500! Would never use this company again, avoid!

I wish I could give this letting agency…

I wish I could give this letting agency zero stars. They have completely breached our contract and shown a total lack of professionalism. Upon moving in, the house was absolutely filthy, with rubbish in back garden. The state of the property was uninhabitable, clearly, no cleaning had been done. On top of that, broken window and door glass was shattered, posing a serious safety risk.

Informed us that the property we were moving out of had been re-let. We then rushed to clear and deep clean the property. Rang several times on the day with no answer to then be told any day before Thursday would be ok. We were then informed by another call 10 minutes later that the property had infact not been re-let. Severe lack of communication therefore making us pay another month rent & bills.

Tracy at the Frodsham office gets 5 stars!

We've just bought a property through Gascoigne Halman and they have been super helpful and communicative throughout the whole process. Tracy Ryan in the Frodsham office has been lovely and always responded to our queries (however bizarre! We have asked a lot of questions haha!) promptly and happily! Most recently sold a property and from the very fair valuation by Bobby, through all the very fast viewings and great feedback from the front office staff through to Sam, who managed to push all parties through the sale even though I gave a very tight deadline ... I am impressed!! I can't think of any reason to use any other agency

Great service and easy to contact

We recently sold and bought a house using the Frodsham office. We met with 3 local estate agents before deciding who to use and we chose Gascgoine Halman Frodsham as they had the most local knowledge and were the easiest branch to get in touch with.As is often the case, the whole house move process was quite lengthy and frustrating. But Tracy in particular helped us out with advice, chasing up solicitors and helping to keep on top of the process. I don’t plan on moving again anytime soon, but if I did I wouldn’t hesitate to use their services again.

After leaving my rented property in May, i still have not received my deposit back. It took me over 2 days to clean the place before moving in, and i made sure the place was better than i found it when leaving. Yet the landlady refused to sign off my deposit and i got Zero help from Gascoigne... the land lady walk in on the flat without notice, once whilst i was stuck down with covid, and you wasn't allowed to visit people. Now i am left to chase MY money back. Avoid these guys, they do not help when help is required.
