GoogleBEWARE of this company. Do not agree to undertake any work for them without prior payment. I have in writing agreement for them to make payment following works to be completed on the 11th January and they still have not paid. This is a last resort as they never answer calls, emails and still haven’t paid despite speaking to them face to face.
Judging on their reviews I expect this will be ignored too.

GooglePLEASE READ BEFORE LETTING WITH THIS AGENT
From the very beginning of my tenancy, issues were constant. When I moved into the property in early September, I discovered numerous serious problems that should never exist at the start of a tenancy:
• No fridge or washing machine despite being told the property was ready
• Contractors’ tools and materials left throughout the house
• Strong unpleasant odour in the living room
• Smoke alarm continuously beeping
• Bedroom carpet missing in places with exposed nails
• Broken window blind
• Electrical sockets covered with tape
• Wardrobe missing handles and hanging rails, making it unusable
• No lock or key for the bedroom door
• Furniture and items promised verbally not yet provided
I emailed Susan multiple times, including a detailed list with photos. During this period I sent at least 4 emails over 3 days before receiving a reply. Even then, responses were delayed, fragmented, and required constant chasing just to get basic updates. This pattern of communication (or lack of it) continued for the entire tenancy, and beyond
Fast forward to the end of the tenancy, where the situation became far worse.
I was explicitly told in writing that my full deposit of £767 would be returned. From that point onward, communication collapsed entirely.
Between 12 November and 20 November, I sent:
• Over 10 follow-up emails
• Multiple phone calls during office hours
• Bank details re-sent several times at their request
In return, I received one short email reply confirming bank details had been “passed to the bank”.
After that single response:
• No payment arrived
• No further emails were answered
• No calls were returned
I repeatedly tried calling Susan directly and emailing he, unable to get through at any point. My calls were consistently ignored. It reached the stage where I had to ask family members and friends to ring the office on my behalf, as my own number was clearly being avoided. Even then, communication was inconsistent and evasive.
I was repeatedly told:
• “The payment has been released”
• “The bank is processing it”
• “You’ll have it shortly”
None of these statements were true.
During this time, I was desperate for a place to live as to prevent becoming homeless. Under pressure and without proper explanation, I was asked to sign a document that was presented as a tenancy agreement, however, was in fact a License to occupy, and was informed that this was standard for a house. I have since moved into another house that showed this just isn’t true. A mistake I hope, no one else makes in desperation and lack of understanding that I had.
This was never clearly explained, and the consequences were significant.
The deposit protection scheme later confirmed that they could no longer resolve the matter on my behalf, and I was advised that my only remaining option was to pursue recovery through the small claims court.
As a result, I was forced to send a formal Letter Before Claim threatening legal action, interest, and court fees, something no tenant should ever have to do just to recover their own deposit.
To summarise:
• Ongoing issues from day one of moving in
• Chronic lack of communication
• Ignored emails and phone calls
• Broken promises regarding payment
• Pressure placed on a tenant in financial distress
• Forced escalation to legal action
This entire experience has been stressful, exhausting, and completely avoidable. The way this situation was handled, showing a complete lack of professionalism, transparency, and care for tenants.
I am leaving this review so others can make an informed decision. Based on my experience, I would strongly advise avoiding this letting agent.

GoogleI have only given one star because there is no zero star option. It is rare that anyone answers the phone at this agency. When they do they may tell you what you want to hear but it turns out later that it isnt true. There is a national Fastmove property (sales) which has a rating of 4.9 on Trustpilot which must suit Warrington Fastmove as this is what comes up when you search

GoogleI had an exceptional experience working with Fast Move Properties as my letting agents. From the moment I contacted them, their team was attentive, professional, and efficient. They listened to my requirements and provided me with a range of suitable properties that fit my criteria. The viewing process was smooth, and their team was knowledgeable, answering all my questions and providing valuable insights.
Throughout the tenancy agreement process, Fast Move Properties was diligent and ensured that everything was in order. They were always available to answer my queries, making the whole process stress-free.
I would highly recommend Fast Move Properties to anyone looking for a letting agent that prioritizes customer service and professionalism. Their dedication to ensuring a positive experience for their clients is truly commendable.

GoogleI am writing this review as a neighbour of one of their tenants. For 23 months (yes nearly 2 years) I have had leaks from the flat above mine. For long periods during that time either no one answered the phone at Fastmove Warrington office or I was told their plumbers had been out and couldn't find a leak. This led to black mould over a good proportion of my ceiling. Eventually I got the property management company involved and was sent photos showing extensive black mould under a toilet cistern. Which begs the question of why their plumbers cannot find a leak. This week I have got got two new instances of dripping, one from a previous spot and one through a light fitting which means I can't use that room as it has no windows. They do answer the phone nowadays but you can't speak to a manager or director and they don't ring you back

GoogleTerrible avoid like the plague!!
House was in a awful state water poured through the ceiling whenever the shower was used, sockets didnt work, the second bedroom stank of sewerage, gas safety cert was 5 months out of date, the boiler and heating only worked occasionally and fast mover deemed all of these faults as 'not a priority' despite my explaining on multiple occasions that i am pregnant and these faults are a health hazard
And they dragged their feet for months to return my deposit then had the cheek to try and deduct money for a clean when i moved out and left the house in a better state than when i moved in.

Google**I do not recommend this agency !** I scheduled an appointment to view one of their properties, I was called three hours before the viewing to confirm my attendance. After driving an hour and a half and rearranging my plans, I received a text only ten minutes before the scheduled time to then find out the viewing was now cancelled .This experience was incredibly frustrating and unprofessional and to be informed via text felt incredibly rude and inconsiderate of the time spent to attend the viewing.

GoogleWhen you rent its a different experience than selling, if you look all the good reviews are on sales. Renting is another matter.
It took me 6 months to get my deposit back and I had to file a dispute with the deposit agency, I also had to prove through emails, pictures and texts that I was a good tenant, even my landlord said he was happy with the house and that I should get my full deposit back.
But they would not give it back, then they only paid some of it. Absolute shambles.
I have never had a problem with deposits back from other agents, I look after the properties that I am in.
Just think twice because the stress off sorting it out is crazy. Very shoddy and they were quick to get me in but unfortunately for them I fought back and I know a lot of people just let it go and this is how they make their money.

GoogleIf I could give them a minus 5 stars I would. Hands down the worst company I have ever worked with. As a letting agent, their service is atrocious, poor at best but bordering negligent. Almost zero communications, when they do it’s misinformation/lies. They’re happy to take money off you to manage a property but they do nothing. Avoid like the plague

GoogleIncredibly unreliable whenever it came to maintenance but jumped on us immediately when a standing order failed. Property was in major disrepair for nearly a year and even with council intervention, nothing was done. Also seems to hire staff that have no clue what they are doing as when we were quoted our final bill, the figure was then doubled as "the previous quote was wrong and the staff member is new" Glad to see the back of them

GoogleJust wanted to say how impressed we are with the new manager at Warrington Kim. In the past we have been left for long periods of time waiting for things to be sorted out. Kim has introduced herself and has rectified the issues we have had very quickly. The contractors used are very friendly and professional.
I feel a lot happier and more confident that we are supported with any issues we have . Very professional but friendly!

GoogleIf you’re a landlord avoid these cowboys, I can’t stress that enough. Absolutely awful agent, poor service, poor comms. If you’re not careful you’d probably find your property on Rogue Landlords. Shame I had to over score them with a star to write a review

GooglePLEASE TAKE NOTICE.......
Avoid fastmove, they will not look after you, your property or your tenants, in my experience.
Full of promises, when you can get a reply, with no follow up or resolution. They do not return on voice messages, emails, very rarely and are not prompt at picking up the phone, concerning complaints or anything for that matter. Fastmove in my opinion are under staffed, James in particular seems stressed at times and struggles to remember what he agreed to. After days of sending emails, not replied to and phoning daily, then pass's the buck, in order not to deal with what was promised, totally unprofessional. This is a pattern with staff that come and go, not trained properly, there is no accountability.
I've since got my property back from Fastmoves management, it's cost me thousands to put it back into a condition, inwhich it could be let out again. I can't even begin to describe the stress and anxiety Fastmove have caused me, which is still ongoing.
I am now with a excellent letting agent, that truly care and bend over backwards to help. Truly refreshing and professional, just how customer service and care should be.
If you still want to do business with them, then I advise you record everything and I mean everything. You'll need it later!

GoogleTotal lack of professionalism. Attempted to buy to flats, in the same building. Made an appointment ones, just to arrive and to be told I cannot come in. Apparently there was an attempt to contact me, but upon pushing no proof was given. Decided to give another chance. Made another appointment for week later. Called half an hour earlier just to confirm. Got a call back saying cannot and we can re arrange yet again.
That's not how you do business with someone looking to spend £300k.

GoogleTerrible service, false commitments and late in return half deposits. In my case, broken eggs were present in broken fridge. Room was not even clean when handed over and multiple problems present in apartment from which half of them never resolved and other half were resolved after month's follow up. Will never recommend to go this agent. Really frustrated with service. (Can't even give half or negative rating. So giving one)
