Everyone must have heard all the horror stories about estate agents. And so did we! Then, the property we were buying was advertised and managed by this agency, and... Oh my God, these people are an exact OPPOSITE of all the stories we heard! Leanne was truly PHENOMENAL. Her customer service was beyond exceptional! There was a point at which we thought we lost the property - and thanks to her absolutely superb relationship management and negotiation skills, everything went well and we got our keys last week :) She was communicating with us regularly, supported us with every issue we had, and she was simply amazing! Another very impressive part of our experience was that whenever we rang the office, even if Leanne wasn't available, every agent we spoke to seemed to know everything about our case and was always able to provide the information we needed - and they advertise so many properties! The flow of information was truly remarkable, something absolutely unheard of with the estate agents we experienced so far. So, in short, whatever your experiences were prior to Ashton's, whether it's good or bad - I guarantee it's nothing like them! They are a guarantee of professionalism at its finest, dedication, and absolutely top customer service at all times - and if I ever go through the process of selling our property - they will be our first and only choice! :)

We were selling our property with ashtons hor 12 weeks. In that time we had 10 booked viewings. Of the 10, 4 were cancelled. Of the remaining 6 ashtons carried out 1 (one) accompanied viewing, meaning 5 (five) we were left to do ourselves.. If I wanted to sell the house myself I wouldn't have gone to ashtons, We got no input from Ashton's whatsoever, only the feedback from the viewer which was minimal. If I were looking at selling my house I would not touch ashtons as all they do is send the viewer ho your house and expect you to sell it yourself.

We recently purchased our first home through ashtons. We first noticed ashtons were far more professional compared to other estate agents from the start just with organising house viewings. Luckily the house we decided to buy was listed with ashtons and they were brilliant along the way. They responded to any questions quickly and were very helpful and polite. Ashtons Padgate office managed the marketing and sale of my terraced property. I was very pleased with the work they did to help with the sale. For a number of reasons (none of them due to Ashtons) the house took a long time (7 months) to go from accepted offer to completion - this is of course very stressful. Leanne Kelly at Ashtons kept on pushing and prodding as needed throughout and kept me in the loop all through the process (Katie also helped in times when Leanne was out of the business). They were great and I have no hesitation in recommending them if you are considering moving - a first class service which I really appreciated 👍

Not helpful. Do not take housing benefit for private renting. Unfortunately when I phoned the letting department they informed me that Ashtons do not except people on housing benefit. I have the phone conversation recorded. If you are saying you except people on housing benefit then may I suggest that A) you stick to that rule when people like myself who are claiming through no fault of mine ask for help and B) look at retraining your staff to give the right information to potential customers. I am a extremely good tenant, my landlord of 6 years will verify that, I have never been in arrears EVER, and I have been paying an extra £100 a month on top of housing benefit because my DHP doesn't cover my full rent. My rent in Oxford for 3 bedroom is £1400 a month. There is an important reason I need to move and that's so my 3 boys one disabled can be near their mum, my wife, so we can start to rebuild my family and be all together one day again because of the damage and lies from social services who illegally removed my 5 young boys 4 years ago under false accusations and in 2018 we successfully won the right for them to be returned to our care and ordered to sue for damages against the LA. When you are told sorry we don't take people on HB it's like you are saying he's never worked,always been on benefits lazy sod. You don't know my background so my review was based on your staffs attitude because I was on benefits and my experience. Try getting to know your customers because we weren't all born with a silver spoon in our mouths. Regards
