As first-time buyers, the whole process of purchasing our first home was quite daunting and at times stressful. We ultimately bought our property through William H Brown (Ware branch). Leaving a review as a buyer feels a little unusual, as you don’t really choose the agent you work with its really whoever is selling the property you like. 

However, after being asked to leave a review, I wanted to share our experience. Luisa was lovely during our viewings; very down to earth, proactive, and genuinely listened to what we were looking for. James was also pleasant to deal with. At times it was quite difficult to get hold of the branch by phone, which could be frustrating when waiting for updates. Communication between the team sometimes felt a little disjointed, and there were a few crossed wires with information during the process. Richard’s approach felt quite pushy at times. While I understand the goal is to achieve the best result for the seller, it’s also important to maintain a positive experience for buyers (as realistically buyers are your future sellers) That said, we did ultimately purchase a home we love, and we appreciate the time Luisa spent with us during the viewings.

My mom and I are nearly at the end of buying our first property with the help of William H Brown, and I'm really happy with how everything is going. Especially, we want to thank Ambica Sanger, who made getting a mortgage much easier. As first-time buyers, we didn't know much about mortgages, but my lovely Ambica explained everything in simple terms and helped us choose the best deal. In the process of selling my property that I let out with William H Brown. They have been super helpful, efficient and always communicate. On the sales team, Richard has been my go to during the sale. Always pleasant to talk on the phone with, any concerns or questions I have are not a problem for him, he is always there to answer my queries and to advise me on what’s the next best step.
