I recently purchased a flat through Winkworth - Thomas was my estate agent and was fantastic throughout. It ended up being quite a long process and Thomas was great at chasing up the solicitors and helping to move the purchase along. Didn't respond to an enquiry. Prompted, then lied about property status/availability. Shut down responses when questioned about it. The standard of English estate agents is abysmal compared to those abroad, yet people accept this low level, amateurish behaviour...so they get it!

Cooperative before contracts exchange. Uncooperative to the point of rudeness after. Made moving in moe dfficult
We take all reviews very seriously and are sorry your experience has compelled you to lead a less than perfect review. However, we are genuinely puzzled here as your agent and you personally contacted us to arrange pre-completion access to store items and cut the lawn…. Both requests have been granted with good grace by the vendor, who certainly did not have to , and by ourselves without a trace of difficulty or rudeness.

GoogleThomas Syms was brilliant, without his outstanding levels of communication we could have lost our purchase. We agreed a purchase at a price we were extremely happy with, despite being under offer another agent kept following up with our vendor, without Thomas’ help we could have lost the sale. His reassuring manner bought us the time required to secure our mortgage and complete at the agreed price, he is an exceptional asset to the agency and a contact I will be keeping in touch with long term.

GoogleThomas Syms of Winkworth Tooting was excellent throughout the process and I'd highly recommend him and the estate agents. Thomas was quick to respond and offered helpful advice - a big plus since we were first time buyers. He was flexible on viewings and had a good relationship with the sellers to get things done efficiently. His recommendations on other services were valuable too, specifically his mortgage brokers. Overall, he was a consumate professional and was very insightful about the whole process.

I can't praise them highly enough, particularly Terry as we didn't have an agent who sold our house so had to continually contact Winkworths instead. Shaun and Aaron were amazing! The best real estate agents I have ever dealt with. Found us the most amazing property and helped us secure it and get it over the line in the most efficient and effortless way possible. They are both very friendly, honest and had great communication. Over all the they are both excellent at their jobs and car about their clients. Both went above and beyond in making this horrible process seem like a piece of cake!
