Tenant beware, unprofessional agency

Tenant beware - unfortunately after a decent lettings process with Melissa, the move-in and management since have been terrible. There were a number of issues upon move-in with no response from the company including regarding statutory obligations (appliances not working, pest problems, unsanitary conditions, mould), with only a "we are understaffed due to COVID". This is ridiculous given managed lettings is the only part of the company with guaranteed recurring income. Just as one example, I have not been able to sleep a single night and have resorted to sleeping in the lounge due to a loud, broken fan in the bedroom. It took 1.5 weeks before Stirling Ackryod (Sarah) finally scheduled an engineer visit. Now the day before the visit when I called the contractor to confirm (after 4 emails asking for the contractor details), I have been told the appointment was never made.

House buyers survey

House buyers survey done to a very low standard. I feel nothing had been pointed out that that we had not seen. Lots of recommendations to bring in other contractors. After getting the keys to property and spending a few hours in the property my untrained eye cracks in brick work as one example. If this is the industry standard it is a complete waste of money.

Efficient work from Clive Martin at SA

We noticed we had faulty appliances and we contacted our property manager Clive Martin from SA about it. Clive organised a contractor to come identify the problem the next day and the faulty appliances were replaced in no time. Clive was extremely helpful and swift in his actions, which made our life easier in a difficult situation. We find him an excellent manager who is easy to reach and efficient.

I would like to share my perfect experience that Townends Estate Agents Earlsfield and personally Miss Diana Kovacheva provided me with. At the time I signed the contract Diana already had arranged few viewings. I was so impress and I could not believe everything is happening so fast. Diana reassured me that we will have the right tenant until the end of the week which was hard for me to believe. During the following days Diana and her colleague Alvin always called me to arrange the viewings in the most convenient time with me. They were always taking in consideration my business and did succeed to make the viewings hassle free for me. I was so amazed when Diana called me 5 days after we had met and she already had 2 offers on the table. Diana gave me her pros and cons for both offers and told me exactly what would have been her choice. I can definitely say that Diana was absolutely right about everything she had said. The negotiation process went without any doubts in the best possible way for me! Until the completion of the rental agreement Diana and Alvin were more than helpful to provide me with all the needed information. They were doing it promptly and without any delays. I believe that because of their experienced opinion I got not only the best possible tenants but also I received the most relax and professional services from their company. They promise one thing on the phone but do another via email, leading to confusion. The agents are rude and arrogant, showing no respect. Genuinely Could Be The Worst Business On The Planet (Of All Time)

Am very sad that trust pilot doesn’t allow me to put 0 stars. 1 is far far too generous, and frankly it’s offensive to businesses who have worked hard to earn their 1 star out of 5. In any case, DO NOT TRUST THE 5 STAR REVIEWS - THEY ARE ALL FAKE.I wrote another review a while ago that they tried to have taken down (and somehow it’s miraculously disappeared now). They fill these pages with fake reviews and petition to get all the bad ones taken down. Maybe if they spent less time combatting people’s genuine anger and disgust with their service and more time actually doing their jobs this complete and utter shitshow of a company wouldn’t be receiving reviews like this one.I’ve lived in my property for 9 months now. On Day 1 check-in we noticed the kitchen tap was broken. It’s 9 months later, the tap still doesn’t work. How is it even possible to be that incompetent and to have that little regard for your customers? Stirling Ackroyd you should hang your collective heads in shame. If you want this review to be taken down, fix my goddamn tap!!
