GoogleBEWARE expats, you’ll be led through a web of deception & fallacy with these guys. All they care about is closing deals, they push you to pay rather aggressively, emailing, calling & whatsapp’ing you. Then have absolutely no regard for your well-being if the rental ‘falls-through’ 2 days before your move-in date. No explanation of what happened & you’ll have to push to get your refund. Such an exhausting process.

GoogleWe worked with George from the Balham office for SW16 to find a flat and he was really kind, helpful, and not pushy at all. He offered lots of local tips and advice, which was really helpful to us as newcomers to the SW16 area. He even helped arranged very quickly a temporary lease to serve as a bridge in our housing arrangements - most diligent agent ever! Would highly recommend anyone to work with him.

GoogleI worked with Lilah in the Balham office. She was very helpful, got me 5 viewings lined up in 1 day so that I could make a decision and made the phone call to the landlord on the spot to secure the flat. She runs a much better process than most estate agents!

GoogleBeattie and her team (predominantly Joanna who was absolutely fantastic, helpful, respectful and everything you might ask from an agent!) provided excellent service - they found tenants within a week of putting the property on the market and were able to answer all our questions. I would definitely use them again.

GoogleI would just like to say that Misbah is a credit to Foxtons. She was amazing from day one; ensuring she knew exactly what I wanted so she didn’t take me around any properties that were unsuitable, keeping me up to date with any new properties that came online, and just going out of her way to find a property for me. After meeting a lot of estate agents, I can honestly say Foxtons, and Misbah stood out by far.

GoogleWe had a very negative experience with Foxtons, which made our move and the weeks leading up incredibly stressful. We had put off writing a Google review but unfortunately it’s been almost two months and the situation is still not completely resolved. Both Eddie and Sophie have been unresponsive and unsympathetic throughout our move in and the following months. We signed our rental contract in July, with our estate agent Eddie insisting we fill out every piece of paperwork and pay the substantial deposit that day. We did as that with no fuss, and then did not hear from Eddie for several weeks as we tried to arrange a viewing. We signed and paid rent from 29 September, and made our arrangements to end our previous tenancies and arrange a moving van around that contracted date. Then, foxtons told us we could not move in until the 1st because the old tenants were refusing to move out, which they tried to tell us was because tenants had rights to do that. This caused issues on our end with our previous landlord, as we had to beg them to let us stay an extra day (they had tenants moving in). Then, just three days before the move they told us we could not move in until 4pm, despite previously telling us 12 noon. We could not push back our former landlords back again, and we had to be out of our house by 12. Effectively, we were to be homeless between 12-4. Foxtons were very unsympathetic and unhelpful and blamed the old tenants for this. We eventually found a solution which involved paying an extra £250 to have our moving van hold our stuff for the four hours. Foxtons refused to reimburse us for that, although of course this was entirely their fault. When we got to the property and unloaded the van outside at 4pm (to avoid paying for an extra hour of the removal van), we were told we could not get in to the property until the inventory had been done by Foxtons. We waited til 5:30 for the cleaners to finish so that the inventory could be done. The cleaners told us that we could put our stuff upstairs, but foxtons said we were not allowed to enter until the inventory had been done, so we sat on the street with all of our stuff in the cold, waiting. When we called foxtons to say the cleaners had finished so they could do their inventory, we were told that the inventory had already been done. So, we had sat on the street with all of our stuff for 1.5 hours unnecessarily. When we were waiting, we bumped into the old tenants who explained they had had very similar issues with Eddie and foxtons. The showed us a text message from two months prior where they had told Eddie that they would not be out of the property any earlier than the 1st of October. We also found out that we had both been on the lease for the dates 29th September and 1st October, which is illegal. Foxtons had lied to us and told us we had not both been on the lease. Foxtons have agreed to reimburse us for the days we paid rent but were not allowed to enter our property, but it has been two months now and they are not replying to our emails about getting this reimbursement.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I believe he is trying to resolve the issues for you, and the team have apologised for the initial mix-up and delay with moving in. We are aware that the manager has advised for you to take two days rent off your next payment to try and make up for the mix up. His professionalism and attention to detail was refreshing and we felt like he really cared about helping us find the right home. He listened carefully to what we wanted and only showed us properties that matched our requirements - something that a lot of other agents didn't seem to be bothered about! We would definitely contact James again when our current contract ends.

GoogleChris Pearson was the best agent in Foxton, and amongst the other estate agents I came across when I needed a property. He listened very carefully to what I was seeking and very sensitively picked up more clues as we viewed properties together. He was never "pushy" as some of the others were,instead he "kept his ears to the ground", and as soon as he became aware of the perfect match he was swift in alerting me. Throughout the whole process he was the perfect attentive gentlemen. Others should learn from him. A real Star!!!!!!!

GoogleChris Pearson and Foxtons Balham did an outstanding job selling our property recently and we could not recommend them high enough. This is the 3rd time we have used this office and the experience keeps getting better and better. Chris and his team go above and beyond anything you could ever expect with an estate agent and do an impeccable job in all aspects. We could always reach them, nothing is too much trouble, they are reliable, dependable, very honest and incredibly experienced in what they are doing, and within our area. We had enormous problems with freeholders and solicitors and Chris was the one driving the sale over the line to the point where our own solicitor said there is no way the sale would have gone through without Chris and Foxtons managing the process. We genuinely love working with Chris, Dominic, their teams and Foxtons in general as the whole process is managed for you, in the most professional manner, to the highest standards, in order to achieve the best for each of their clients. They are the premium real estate agent in our area and when we have to deal with other estate agents I cant believe the level of incompetency and blasé attitude, plus you can never reach who you need to speak to. This is the opposite to what you get with Chris and his team who genuinely care about your business and keep you posted with all steps at all times, but with the stress removed, just expertly managing the process. From our experience, these guys are the best you can get.

GoogleMy experience with Foxton's negotiator Dane Ward was excellent. He was very quick to respond to phone calls and emails and located several different properties which were in line with the criteria we set. Dane was always courteous and polite during our interaction and he used the feedback we provided after each viewing to refine our search. He quickly arranged second viewings when requested and answered any queries we had about the property. Importantly, we never felt as though we were being pushed towards a particular property leading to an excellent overall experience.
