A horrible experience

A horrible experience. Dexters arranged a viewing for us at the property when the previous tenant’s furniture was still in the flat. There was serious damp damage on the wall linings behind that furniture. They did not disclose this even though they were aware of a serious leak in the building and then failed to acknowledge their gross marketing practice. We made an offer. On the first day of our tenancy we discovered the damp on the walls, faulty electrics, faulty heating units and mold on the window blinds. Beware of trusting them

Great customer service!

I moved into my new property on the 20th December 2022, just before Christmas which is a hectic time for everybody! However, with the assistance of Dexters (especially Bill) they have made my move very smooth and hassle free. Bill has been nothing but helpful, proactive and attentive. He has gone above and beyond to answer all of my questions and always gets back to me when he says he will (a lot of people don’t!). Bill has (and will continue to I’m sure) provided me with excellent customer service.

12/07/2022 UPDATE: ***Unfortunately it all went down hill rapidly once the contract was signed. I was advised on the rental to be received after agents commission which was not honored and far from the confirmed amount. The agent should have sent me a specific tax form to sign which they failed to do. Now having to pay my accountant to resolve the issue. I communicated the problem to Archie and the Dexter's Putney team to get a resolution but got the square root of nothing. Was advised that someone in another department of Dexter's was going to contact me but that has not happened. Just awful and a total lack of communication and care. Will now have to instigate legal action. *** Original Review: Archie from Dexter's has been very helpful and communication has been excellent. I have let my property with them yet again. Based in Australia but grew up in Putney, I was looking for a reputable agent that was going to take care of my needs and provide quality tenants. I can highly recommend Archie and Dexter's based on my experience.

Would highly recommend Dexters Putney when selling your property! My partner and I are looking to buy a property in Putney and we visited the Dexter outlet there and the staff there could not have been more helpful. We had not made an appointment, but James and Fergus were able to quickly find properties that met our requirements and even take us on viewings of five properties with very little notice.
