I’d like to personally thank the excellent team at Dexters Putney for their hard work and guidance in achieving the sale of my property. Dominic, Harry and Charlie were a delight to work with. They were each highly professional in the way they kept me informed and communicated with me seamlessly, regardless of who I was speaking to. I always felt that my property mattered to them and they were all ‘on it’. Dom was open to my ideas and feedback throughout the process and I received excellent guidance from both him and his team at a number of crucial decision making points along the way. It’s also very much worth saying that they all have fantastic people skills and I enjoyed engaging with them! Thank you to Amy for coordinating communication between myself, the buyers and their lawyers, not an easy job, but very much appreciated.

We've moved into a property in Putney that is managed by Dexters. A number of repairs were required to the property that were left from the previous tenants, and Sharon Ballard was quick to provide support in getting repairmen out to deal with it. She has been responsive and pro-active, and very pleasant to converse with. As a whole, the property is in good condition and the move in process has been painless. My only negative is that the deposit and first month's rent was required a whole 2 months before the tenancy started, which I cannot say I've come across before with other agencies. But they didn't charge us for agency fees, even though that hadn't legally come into affect yet.

The team did a great job of getting buyers through the door and keeping me updated. A particular thank you to Harry, Dominic and the rest of the team for being proactive, persistent and having a real "can-do" attitude to arranging a sale. They ultimately found me a buyer in really tough market conditions and were not afraid to be realistic about pricing to help find a buyer. Charlie, Amy and the team at Dexters Putney were a massive help throughout the process of buying our first property. Charlie is efficient, personable and a really genuine person to help you through the home buying process. He made negotiations as stress free as he could and helped us through a tricky (at times!) process. Amy was unbelievably on the ball when it came to communicating between sellers, solicitors and ourselves and if I was ever unable to get in touch with her (a rarity) she'd return my calls at her earliest opportunity. Please dont be fooled by the 5-star ratings spammed. I didnt believe the 1-star ratings myself until I had a first hand experience myself. Dealing with Dexters is similar to dealing with the devil. You will feel like you have just signed your soul away. Maybe it is this one particular real estate agent. She is very active until she gets what is needed (I shall not name her). Then leaves you in the dust. I did see a 1-star rating naming her, sadly it was too late for me. Apart from this I have had issues from DAY 1. What was supposed to be a "professionally cleaned" house with no issues, turned out to be house cleaned by Mickey Mouse & Co. Since it is managed by Dexters themselves and they sent these "professional cleaners", they say everything was fine. UNTIL I sent them pictures and videos. Still they didnt come and sort it out, in the first 2 weeks. They kept delaying it, asking for more proofs, asking whats wrong, more proof, whats wrong. Never ending cycle. Ended up cleaning it myself. Throughout the initial process the real estate agent tried to really hurry me up. "Ooh the landlord wont be so comfortable" "Oooh the landlord will have second thoughts if you delay" "Ooh the landlord will want someone who is this way..". But later on, when the landlord was blanking her and there was delay. She had nothing to say and would not return my calls. Very hypocritical and selfish. Honestly, I was very close to pulling out of it only because of the real estate agent. She was horrible, and weirdly she always has a fake smile (creepy). Honestly if you are looking to LET, just goto the other counterparts (no shortage of real estate agents over here OR use the other Dexters agent). Trust me, a smaller real estate agent will do a better job than what I got. If you are a LANDLORD, do use Dexters. They will rip off the tenants for you. OVERALL, a very terrible experience. Not sure what I was expecting when Dexters is infamous for all the controversies they are silently involved in. Honestly couldnt careless if I have offended someone. Should have done a better job!
