I was referred to Joe Crabb many months ago. He is absolutely amazing, so knowledgable and trustworthy. We initially worked on a mortgage for a property that was sold to another party. But once we were ready to start looking for a new property again, Joe was there for us again and he helped in every step of the way. I am incredibly grateful to Kecia for her exceptional work and support throughout our recent property sale and purchase. From start to finish, Kecia was dedicated and showed genuine care, which made the progress a lot less stressful in a very stressful situation. Kecia had a really proactive approach. She kept us informed at every stage of the process, providing clear explanations and guidance that ensured we were always well-informed and confident in our decisions. Despite my calling her about 50 times a day, she never seemed annoyed and always went above and beyond. When my solicitor was failing to deliver, Kecia consistently went the extra mile to address any concerns or challenges that arose, swiftly resolving them, even handling parts of the job that probably weren't her responsibility. Selling and buying a property can be a very daunting process. I wasn't really aware of how valuable the Sales Progression department was beforehand; however, now on the other side, I'm incredibly glad that we had Kecia. In summary, I cannot recommend Kecia highly enough; she will make your selling or purchasing experience a lot easier. Also out experience working with Ben was exceedingly positive. Our property sale proved to be quite challenging, with numerous bumps along the way. When our original buyer withdrew, Ben swiftly secured us a new offer within a week. As we encountered further hurdles, we were fortunate to have Ben negotiating on our behalf, ensuring the progression of the sale. Initially, when selecting an estate agent, we primarily considered the initial offer stage. However, in hindsight, we now realise that they play a crucial role throughout the entire process. So it's important to have the right person by your side. His constant availability to offer insights and guidance proved invaluable during the stressful times, which reduced a lot of the anxiety around the sale.

I will be forever thankful to her because she introduced us to Ben, our exceptional broker. Andrea will hold your hand from start to finish in looking for your perfect property. My husband and I didn't know anything about Southfields but she supplied us a lot of information about the area during our viewings. Her level of knowledge and amount of data that she had about the market was impressive. On the other hand, I cannot stress enough how remarkable Ben is. He is everything you need in purchasing a property! We are first time buyers and have no clue or idea how, where to start. My experiences with this estate agent have been mixed. Initially, I used Barnard Marcus in February 2019 when purchasing my flat in Southfields. The team provided exceptional assistance throughout the entire process, including securing the mortgage. The mortgage adviser was particularly helpful in obtaining the best terms during that time. However, my experience with the same estate agent during the sale of my flat was so disappointing. The primary issue was that, it seemed like different agents were selling and showing my flat to potential buyers. So the agents repeatedly inquired about parking availability, location, cost, and service charges (including if my flat was south / west / north facing). Eventually, I informed them that I was replacing them and proceeded with the termination email, serving a four-week notice period (although not sure about the notice period). Luckily, they were able to find a buyer for my flat at the very last minute. I encountered significant challenge during the re-mortgaging of my flat. I had to contact the bank after having already paid two months’ worth of mortgage payments, only to be informed that I could obtain a more affordable option. This resulted in substantial financial losses due to the very poor mortgage advice I received. Additionally, I had to replace the solicitors initially provided due to unforeseen fees and charges that they failed to disclose or provide me with adequate notice. I am still grateful for their assistance and would recommend them. However, it is important to be cautious and avoid the issues mentioned above.

We've used Barnard Marcus over the years and we always come back to them for a few different things: - Communication: is next to none! They email, call and text (even when in meetings - Thanks Chris Randall) to keep you up to date with dealings. - Knowledge: From mortgages to selections of potential buyers they know their stuff. Giving advice good and bad (which is what you want to hear) is comforting that they think about both sides. - Laughter: it's important! sometimes even when you want to cry, the team were there to lift us up and ensure us it would happen!!! - Getting the job done! We had a chain of 6 which was very complex, however Chris and his team navigated it very well chasing the other agents to get updates, get paperwork sorted and be in a position to exchange and set a completion date. All of which has been achieved. In the climate that is rising interest rates and high property prices we feel very blessed to have had exchanged and have secured our next move. She generously made it possible for us to have access several times between exchange and completion so we could acclimatise our toddler to her future home.
