Lisa and the team were so helpful throughout! We found the perfect place in April 2022 but, despite both sides being chain-free, there was a huge array of complications from changes of solicitors to missing documents to a non-contactable seller, which meant we did not complete until March 2023! We were so stressed about losing out on the property because everything was taking so long and issues kept arising, but Lisa was fantastic at keeping us in the loop, going above and beyond her duties to keep a very difficult seller on track, and ensuring everyone (including the solicitors) was in good communication. We absolutely love our new home and it could not have been achieved without the excellent and dedicated work of Lisa and everyone at Barnard Marcus.

Three years ago, we moved into a rental property in Earlsfield managed by Barnard Marcus. From the outset, we experienced shockingly poor service from them. Despite being assured that the property would be unfurnished and ready for us to move in on a specified date, we were unable to do so on the scheduled day due to the current tenants' delayed departure. Upon finally gaining access to the property, we found it had not been professionally cleaned as promised, and all the furniture remained inside despite our requests for removal. Throughout our tenancy, we encountered ongoing issues that took weeks to resolve, despite our repeated attempts to address them. Upon moving out, we were suddenly presented with unsubstantiated claims of damages by the landlord. These claims were inaccurate and existed prior to our occupancy. Despite numerous requests, we have yet to receive the inventory list to verify the condition of the property upon our arrival. The incompetence of the staff at Barnard Marcus is deeply concerning, and we strongly advise against any future association with them.
