Bought 2 houses with Cyden now and can’t fault the process or the houses! Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. Few minor cosmetic snags discovered on our home demo, as is expected with any house. All snags was sorted within 2 weeks of moving in. Thankyou everyone at Cyden.

I purchased my second Cyden home on the Alexander Park development at Louth 14 months ago. The fact that it’s the second time I’ve purchased a new Cyden home says a lot. The initial purchase process is made very easy and Andrea makes sure that everything is well explained and understood. I would seriously recommend you avoid dealing with Cyden homes. They are very unprofessional and clearly have no respect for members of public or their property..!! Last week 21st July 2021 without any prior contact or consultation cyden homes sent 2 labourers with a JCB digger and removed a section of my hedge which has formed the boundary to my property for the last 20 plus years.. I spoke with the site foreman who didn't even apologise but said he would contact his office and get back to me immediately. After a week passed by and still no contact I contacted ELDC building control who said they had no permission to remove the hedge and would contact cyden homes and get them to contact me to rectify this issue. I'm still waiting for a cyden representative to contact me and appologise. Would someone from cyden homes like to contact me to appologise for your mistake, the hassle and stress they have caused me and to arrange reinstating my hedge..?????!!!!!!!NegativeProfessionalism

We had never considered a new build as our assumption was that they were small and you paid a premium to have them brand new. After a chain fell through on a property we were going to be buying we were looking at other options and fell upon Cyden as they were building in one of the villages we were considering. The floor plan had all the extra rooms we were going to extend onto an older property already included at not much more expensive so we decided to go and view a show home. We were very pleasantly surprised with the size of the home, and in our opinion the best value new builds we have seen. We are now living in our new home and very happy with the home, floor plan and size of the rooms. Our site had extra features included like integrated appliances and silestone worktops which added to the finish, and we also love the oak doors included too. I had really panicked myself about having issues and getting them sorted when we were in the buying process, but so far any issues we have had have been dealt with and we have had no major problems.PositiveValue

The build quality is phenomenal, so much better than any other new build properties we looked at and the finishes are of a much higher standard. All of the workmen on site were really helpful and the on going site works hasn't been a problem since completion. As with all new builds we have experienced a few minor problems as the property beds in but the after care has been fantastic, everything was been sorted promptly and to a high standard. Rude and unprofessional. Wouldn't touch these with a bargepole if the customer service and sales reps are anything to go by. We walked over from where we're staying on Humberston to have a look at "par 3" as we were curious about moving back to the UK for parents to retire from living overseas in Saudi. On first glance these look dreadful - sorry if you own one - but they're reminiscent of a council house or communist era compound. Weird entry ways, strange wood cladding that already looks quite worn, sharp angles that scream bad design (not modern), curious what architecture awards have been won here. The 'nature' that these are supposedly built around is nonexistent, I've seen better parks, trees and conservation areas on desert compounds in the middle east. We wandered over to the show home as the massive sign on the main road indicated with no mention of appointment only. We tried the door but it seemed like no one was around despite the timings next to the door indicating the sales office was open. By chance a contractor was dropping off keys so someone came out, the woman then turned to face us and just stared rudely at us waiting for us to say something. We were all floored by her tone and attitude that followed - shocking sales behaviour. It doesn't take much to be nice, be the face of your business, and just explain in a kind way that its appointment only (even though there was no one around so not sure the big issue). When we explained we wouldn't be able to come back on the weekend because we're leaving to go down to London the rudeness increased and she swiftly retreated back inside and made a big show of locking the door on us while we stood there. We laughed it off but wow, what a way to treat potential customers. Guess we'll never know what they look like on the inside (not that we would want to now) and will have to judge by the outside, kind of like how she did to us. Sort your reps out. We obviously won't be recommending anything associated with your business to our community.NegativeProfessionalism
