TrustpilotZoopla Drowning Users in Spam , No Way To Stop It
Zoopla has completely lost control over spam emails. I only signed up to get alerts for office listings in London, but now I receive 50, 60 junk emails every single day, mostly from one company called "Ask Asif". It’s absolutely out of control.

Hi Andrew,
Thank you for your review. We're sorry to hear of your experience with agents through the website.
We would like to assure you that all estate and lettings agents advertising on Zoopla Property Group portals are required to be compliant with applicable laws, regulations and codes of practice in the United Kingdom.
All agents undertake several checks before they are accepted as a Zoopla agent. We recommend you contact the agent via the phone on their advertised number as they do receive many responses to their listings. You can see this either on the property listing, or displayed next to their profile in the 'Find agents' section of our site:

Hi,
Thank you for sharing your concerns with us. We're really sorry to hear you feel this way about our valuation model.
The Zoopla house price estimate is based on data fed through an automated valuation model (AVM), which analyses property information on all 29 million UK homes on a continuous basis. Our data comes from multiple sources based on a number of data points relating to property sales, values and home characteristics throughout the UK, including publicly available data such as that from HM Land Registry and Registers of Scotland.
The accuracy of Zoopla estimates is influenced by a number of factors such as the current market values of homes, the quality of the information available on the given property and the availability of comparable properties in the area. This means that unique properties or those where the housing market is slower, may experience less accurate estimates.
We receive new data all the time and above-average variations will be largely a result of changing property characteristics and the comparability of the property to the local market. Therefore, discrepancies and/or increases or decreases such as you have outlined are not unusual.
Here is a Help Centre article that will give you more information on where we get our data from:

GoogleI am only giving this agency one star because there isn't any other option, I would give them zero if I could. Century 24 Leyton is the worst estate agency I have come across! Knowing we had only eight days left to move in, they wasted our time by not telling us that the studio flat is no longer available (on the 6th day and after receiving three months rent and one month deposit in advance) without a valid explanation! They then showed me three other double rooms (two of which were in the most horrible condition) and when I asked the agents for what the rent is, they said that we will discuss this when we go back to the office, so they decide on what the rent is going to be on the spot! They don't answer phone calls even though I've been told that the office opens at 10am I was unable to get through to them until 12 noon (this happened three times), they read and don't reply to your messages and they don't send you holding fee receipts and absolutely avoid communicating with you via emails because they don't want to be tied down legally (this is because they're also unprofessional). The agent mockingly said he had "good news and bad news" on our 6th day (so we had two days left to move in) and apparently the good news is that they received the money but bad news is that the property is not available! Absolute nightmare. When we realised we had no other option we decided to take one of the double rooms they showed me as an alternative and asked the agent in a message to email the holding deposit receipt and the tenancy agreement, again read it and didn't reply, I called them twice and they didn't answer the phone knowing it's me calling and when I asked him to call me he calls only to inform me that the landlord found a long term tenant (this is a lie because on our way to the viewing the agent said there are three rooms vacant because the market is really slow, please note that this was at 7:30pm) and the very next morning funnily enough the landlord finds a tenant! THEY ARE LIARS, THEY DON'T COMMUNICATE PROPERLY, THEY ARE UNPROFESSIONAL. DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME WITH THIS AGENCY, ABSOLUTE DISAPPOINTMENT, AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
