Wonderful experience at Shawfair.

Wonderful experience at Shawfair. I love looking around show homes, so when I noticed St. Modwen Homes at Shawfair, I thought I’d have a look around the various builders on the site. St. Modwen Homes really stood out for me. The show home is absolutely stunning! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed. The sales lady, June, was so welcoming and friendly. Unlike some other builders I visited, she never made me feel as though I was wasting her time. I was honest with her that I wasn’t looking to buy at the moment, but she still took plenty of time to tell me all about the development and the company. It was such a lovely experience, and I came away with some fabulous ideas for decorating. I would definitely recommend a visit to anyone thinking of buying or simply looking for inspiration. My only regret is that I’m not in the market for a new home at the moment! A big thank you to June for making my visit so enjoyable. ❤ O and thank you for the tea and home made scone .

Excellent experience with St Modwens

We recently purchased our new home with St. Modwen Homes and have been extremely impressed with the experience from start to finish. A special thank you to the sales team, Toni, Paula and Simon, who were fantastic throughout the whole process. Their communication was efficient, clear and consistent, and they always kept us informed about timescales and what to expect next. We faced some legal challenges during the purchase, but the team coordinated everything incredibly well and helped keep the process moving smoothly. Their professionalism, responsiveness and commitment really stood out. We would also like to thank Richard, the Site Manager. During our site visits, he was welcoming, knowledgeable and thorough. He took the time to explain everything clearly, gave us confidence in the quality of our new home and made sure we knew exactly what to expect. Finally, Josh from Customer Care has been amazing. He has continued to check in with us after completion to make sure we are settled and happy with our home. That level of aftercare has made us feel genuinely valued as customers. Most importantly, we are delighted with the quality and finish of our new house. We moved into a beautiful home with zero snagging issues, which exceeded our expectations. From the sales process and site visits through to completion and aftercare, the whole experience has been professional, well coordinated and reassuring. A huge thank you to Toni, Paula, Simon, Richard and Josh for making such an important milestone a positive and memorable experience. We would happily recommend St. Modwen Homes to anyone considering buying a new-build home.

Great customer service and support

I’m very happy with the customer service from St Modwen. Any issues I’ve had with my new home have been dealt with quickly and efficiently, which has made the whole process much less stressful. I also really appreciate that the team genuinely takes the time to check in and make sure everything is okay. It’s reassuring to know that they care about their customers and are there to help when needed. A special thank you to Josh, who has been incredibly helpful, kind and always happy to assist. His support and friendly approach have really made a difference. Craig the maintenance technician

We brought our St Modwens home in Branston two years ago and as with all new builds we had a couple of snags. We have had Craig the maintenance technician with us for a few days to fix all these minor issues and he was a superstar. So polite, worked clean and tidy, finished all jobs to an incredible level and even managed to work around our daughters nap times without disturbing her. A true gentleman, a credit to St Modwen and an incredible all round technician with no task however big or small being too much trouble. Thank you Craig, you are a legend.

I am a first-time-buyer and from start to finish, this has been a relatively stress-free experience. Tigan and Caroline, in the sales team, have been outstanding. They have been consistently professional, approachable, and always on hand to help, which made the whole process smooth, and not overwhelming for a first-time buyer. I didn’t feel like any question I had was stupid. Despite their heavy work load, they make you feel like you’re the priority. The build quality of the home is very impressive. A professional snagging inspection identified 65 items, but the vast majority were minor cosmetic points, which is reassuring for a new build. The build was complimented and described as ‘at a very high standard’. A special mention to Site Manager Dave, who has been exceptional. Leading up to and post completion, he has been highly responsive, proactive, and quick to resolve any issues raised. His attention to detail and commitment has really stood out. I genuinely feel looked after. Overall, I’m incredibly happy with my new home. This is clearly a quality development delivered by a team that cares. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Excellent aftercare service

Having moved into our new build there were the inevitable ‘snags’. We expected some challenge from the developers (that’s what happens right?) wrong! Josh could not have been more helpful. In terms of aftercare service, Josh demonstrated all the skills required as an aftercare/service provider. He is a great listener, empathetic, even better problem solver and fantastic negotiator (to our advantage) Always jovial, nothing is too much trouble. He is also reliable. I have to say all of the St Modwen employees and subcontractors were fantastic. I cannot speak highly enough of them. Shout out to Callum, John, plumbing and groundwork lads.

Went spontaneously with no appointment to the Valley Rise development. Joanne was very welcoming and gave us lots of useful information. St Modwen seems to really value transparency and high quality build. It was the most engaged and excited we have been when visiting a development! Popped in to the sales office just to see the show homes and ended up buying a new home all thanks to Kyle! We were kept up to date from start to finish, Kyle has been an absolute pleasure to deal with since the second we walked into his sales office and will be greatly missed once the development is finished. The quality of the home is second to none, we haven’t had any major issue since we’ve moved in in March and any snags we had after moving in were sorted within a couple of weeks. Would highly recommend St Modwen to anyone, great quality homes which stand out from others thanks to their stunning huge windows!

Purchasing a St Modwen home

We moved in to our St Modwen home in Consett around 6 weeks ago and I am delighted at the standard of workmanship and the over all quality for our new build. The whole process has been enjoyable and stress free. Joanne the sales manager was professional, friendly and guided us through every step of the way. She was always on hand to answer any questions and regularly kept in touch via telephone and email providing information and updates. St Modwens gave us several opportunities to view the house during the final stages of the build, we were accompanied by the site manager Steve who is extremely helpful and always on hand to answer any questions and queries. The build quality and finish to my St Modwen home and the standard of the fittings and fixtures are amazing. A few minor snagging issues have been identified and raised with the after sales team which are being actioned without any problems. Overall I am delighted with my St Modwen home and the service I received from the St Modwen team. Thank you.

St Modwen wasn’t a well known builder…

St Modwen wasn’t a well known builder in the North East of England I stumbled on them by chance fell in love with their fabulous unique show home and went on to purchase a plot. Everything so far has been excellent, professional and without issue. The first phase visit to my plot was informative friendly and the team couldn’t have done more to keep me updated. I look forward to moving into my new home in the coming months. Well worth a look!
