GoogleAwful experience. As a landlord I can honestly say the management of my property has been disgusting. Lack of communication to both myself and tenants, resulting in property damage that I have had to stump the cost of. Management agent Countrywide is a farce, two of the staff members I’ve dealt with have been totally incompetent in their jobs, I believe I have been fed a lot of lies. I’ve asked for a paper trail of one of the issues raised, but they have been unwilling to provide. I’m not quite sure what I pay the massive fees for monthly as they don’t appear to do anything? Certainly not manage the property. I’ve been promised apologies from the regional manager and promised I would see an improvement... ha... have yet to see either. Communication is dire. I’m frankly disappointed, disgusted and frustrated with my management team and the company as a whole. Have the issues been sorted? No. Would I recommend? No I absolutely would not. What is going on in that office?

We can't praise the staff at Freeman Foreman Uckfield enough for their calm, supportive and constructive approach. My partner and I recently viewed a rental property in Hampden Park, Eastbourne. Stephen was showing us the property and he is the BEST. I met with him a few days prior and he took all my details and immediately found us a property that fit our requirements. He answered all our questions, was very thorough, and let us have as much time as we needed inside the property. As soon as we got home, he took the time to e-mail us with a follow up. 10/10 service from Stephen and if you’re looking to rent, I 100% recommend going in and having a chat with Stephen at the Freeman Foreman office on Terminus Road. Freeman Forman Lettings in Eastbourne were happy to take the 10% management fees for 20 years when we let our property out through them, but when our tenant decided not to pay the rent anymore they were suddenly very unhelpful, they knew this was crippling us as the interest on the mortgage had shot up and with no rent coming in we were struggling.
