We’d been trying to sell our flat for over two years with other agents and were honestly pretty exhausted by the whole process. Francis Wilson and the team at Foxtons Twickenham finally got us across the finish line! With previous agents, we had buyers drop out and then everything would just stall. Foxtons were completely different -they got way more viewings booked in from the start, and even when a buyer pulled out, they had new people through the door almost immediately. The Twickenham team were great at managing the viewings and kept us in the loop the whole time. The biggest difference was Francis during the actual sale. We had a nightmare with solicitors and issues up and down the chain, but Francis stepped in constantly. He was making calls on our behalf to push things along, and whenever the buyers started getting cold feet, he managed to talk them around and keep everyone calm. If you’ve had a tough time selling or just want an agent who actually rolls up their sleeves to get the deal done, definitely go with Francis and his team.

I had tried to sell my freehold house for many months with previous agents. While many viewers loved the house, I never got any compelling offers. There are not that many freehold houses with this size and this many bedrooms for such an affordable price - all market estimates were higher. Then I instructed Foxtons and they sold the house for me. I worked with Francis Wilson. He was easy to approach, always picked up my phone or called me back quickly. Francis was also personally involved in the conveyancing process when we faced some obstacles. I would definitely recommend Foxtons.

We bought our house many years ago through Foxtons so it only seemed logical to go back to resell our property after many years of making it our home. We were not disappointed and the experience from the complete team was great. We worked with Alan,Ellen and Francis from the twickenham branch and found a really energetic,friendly and adaptable team to both ours and our tenants requirements (which wasn’t easy at times!) . Foxtons really focus on your needs and respond to you clearly and quickly while renting. Especially the two agents I worked with, Oscar and Louis, were helpful and supportive. You should get in touch with them. However when your rental contract ends then there is the big issue of getting back your deposit. Foxtons has a different department for that which is totally unsupportive and pretty unfair. To begin with, I left the flat in a good condition, house fully cleaned by my housekeeper and more to that when checking in to the flat some parts like window frames inside and outside were not painted before so I painted since I like to live in a clean and well painted house. Oven was extremely dirty and parts ripped, all fixed by myself. After a year, before exiting the flat, I painted the parts that are just in fair wear and tear status to be a good tenant. More to that I paid £320 to Foxtons for Move Out Clean which means professional cleaning. You know what, Still they blocked the deposit and after my many complains and providing evidence, they only paid back some of the amount. This process took months since they do not respond to my emails and calls. Briefly, I don’t recommend Foxtons and I heard many similar stories from other tenant about them later on, meaning it was not just me.
