GoogleVery upsetting experience with this agent! Viewed a property last week put an offer in on the same day was told late that evening that the offer had been accepted and congratulated us and told us we could celebrate, we were over the moon. We then were told on the Saturday of that week by them that we should wait until it had been confirmed as they had not yet completely confirmed it and the sellers were waiting for their offer to be confirmed. We were contacted today to be told by them someone else had put a higher offer in, we matched their offer, we were then told that this agent had gone back to the other bidder and told them we had put in the same offer and then we were told that the other bidder had now put in a substantially higher offer! Thank you very much for completely getting our hopes up for nothing and making us worry all bank holiday weekend!! What a joke! Completely agree with the other negative comment on here about maybe pricing their properties at the correct value in the first instance to avoid completely wasting peoples time and playing with people emotions! A very unpleasant and emotional experience! Found the agent to be extremely unprofessional!

Having lived in our shared ownership flat since they were built many years ago we had for family & other reasons decided to move to Cornwall. Having no experience of buying/selling a house and hearing many conflicting reports good & bad of estate agents overt the years we were a bit nervous to say the least! Some estate agents we found in Truro a bit say we say sniffy & not very helpful. However Clive Pearce (and another estate agent) we found yo be really genuinely both helpful and professional and friendly. They really took what we needed and our budget seriously and through their really great help we found the house that we really wanted. Then their kind help in negotiations at what we could afford we were able to make an offer that was accepted (The sellers of the house are really nice, genuine peopel as well which has helped immensely) . They have been so patient and helpful to us especially explaining the procedures and putting our minds at rest whenever we have had concerns. So helpful to someone new to buying a house.
