Dublin landlords don't respond on this site. There aren't many controls in place to force them to respond or to remove their adverts until they've replied to all applicants. This normalizes the unacceptable behavior of landlords who simply have way too many options in Dublin. People in desperate need of housing are affected the most.

I believe the review where it says the hits on the ad are mostly fake .Before I knew it I had over a thousand views and about six messages.Three hundred euros for a basic ad is ridiculous but Myhone.ie only takes Irish cards for payment because the website is so out of date .They are loosing thousands every week because Daft.ie take all the up to date payment formats.

This Company has got to deserve an award for the worst customer service of all time. They have no telephone contact possibility and do not reply to email queries. In my particular case, as a Landlord I have been trying to place an Advertisement using Visa. I have tried several cards and there is an issue with 'Daft'!! not requesting the card Issuer to provide a push notification. AIB have verified this to me this morning. I have tried several cards and the issue persists and Daft will no longer take another card. They have no phone contact number and have not responded to emails sent. Very frustrating and as a Landlord totally unsatisfactory. Does their domination of the Marketplace give them the ability to ignore their customer base.

I have to write this review as balance. I have used the site for 10 years now and it is a superb site. The listings are by individual Estate Agents and errors should be addressed to them. I reported a problem with an advertiser directly to the M.D and received a reply within hours. The matter was rectified within 4 days and that shows the company is led by a person with good business ethics and a customer service focus. Excellent!

The hits are fake. I complained several times about my Advert on my home sale, being inaccurate. They took so long to investigate the glitch but it continued. I couldn’t monitor the true activity on my live ad as it could vary by 200 hits plus/minus. But they push their website based on hits. Fraudulent advertising. Had to freeze my ad, but still got nothing back from them. Would not recommend at all. No one to speak with and go through the numerous snapshots to explain why it also showed the wrong location. How can you monitor your advert, if the feedback isn’t accurate.

GoogleMy experience of dealing with this agent was pretty awful. They were incredible rude, the receptionist Muriel was one of the rudest receptionist I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. My partner spoke to Darragh on another occasion and siad he was rude abrupt and made you feel like you were just a inconvenience for him. How they stay in business was beyond us neither myself or my partner are from Tralee.Tralee people are so lovely and friendly and thankfully we didn't have any bad other bad experience with any other agent in Tralee. Get the feeling this agent is a big fish in small pond might be a different story if this agent was a small fish in a big pond.

As an American, new to the Irish process of home buying, Muriel connected me with the people I needed and answered every question I had along the way (and believe me, there were many!). She was was patient and prompt to respond. Everything was handled efficiently even though I was thousands of miles away throughout the entire purchase process. My experience with Daly O'Se was nothing but first class!

Never go to 11 Eglinton Court. The owner of the house is a swindler. I've been there, but the owner is so stupid that He can't even calculate the number. I have to pay the electricity bill, but everyone receives it differently. Once, he cut off the Internet because Chinese often play games. Nevertheless, he still got the electricity bill. If you hate him at all, he'll catch your weakness. Even Wi-Fi is not 1GB. I've never used it in my life there. The Internet is often disconnected and the speed is quite slow. He wrote down four people on the site, but he actually brought four more members of his family. That's why there's a total of nine people. You have to pay for their electricity and heating. The kitchen utensils are quite dirty and scraps come out of the coffee pot. They run washing machines and dishwashers even at dawn. And you can hear who uses the bathroom at dawn."I can bet my everything and prove that everything above is true."

When you enquire about a place to rent/share but don't hear back from the person who placed the ad it seems to be that Daft have tightened their security measures but neglected to inform their users. Those who advertise a place as available can no longer contact those who enquire (like we used to be able to do.) When I asked Daft about this issue, they said that it is the person's choice to include contact details in their enquiry or not. I put a note in my description box explaining that their email address must be included in the BODY of their query for me to contact them. Almost no one is reading the description. Of the hundreds who ask to see the place, I have only been able to reach the 7 or so people who read my description and included their contact details.

Draft website is very useful for the public, but now a days, Most of the for sale advertisements are "sale agreed" or "sold". still it display as "for sale" !!. Request to the site developer who created this platform with good intentions, "If they could also have a mechanism to verify and update current status of advertisement to ensure the genuineness", so that it may helpful to the user to avoid unwanted emails and phone calls.

GoogleI just had to share the incredibly frustrating experience I had with a property viewing at 211 The Parklands in Tralee. My scheduled viewing on Jan 22nd at 14:15 turned into a complete disappointment because, well, no one bothered to show up! After calling up Darragh O Se to figure out the situation, I was informed that the property was already sale agreed. Fair enough, but why wasn't I informed beforehand? To add to the frustration, I had a missed call from Darragh at 14:13, just two minutes before the scheduled viewing. Seriously, what's up with that timing? Upon speaking with Darragh, I learned that another buyer had swooped in, made an offer, and the landlord accepted it. As a professional, it would have been more appropriate for Darragh to wait for my scheduled viewing to complete before informing the landlord about the other offer. What made matters worse was that I had a genuine interest in the property. I even sweetened the deal with an extra 10 grand. Darragh mentioned that he informed the landlord, who was considering it. Later, he opened the apartment door for us, allowed us in, and then promptly instructed us to view the property on our own. Instead of staying to address any questions we might have had or providing insights about the property, he left, advising us to close the door ourselves when finished Extremely rude, but I overlooked it because I genuinely liked the place. I expressed my interest in buying, and Darragh assured me he would chat with the landlord and get back to me the next day. Cool, right? Well, not really. He never did. I made multiple calls to the office, and all they kept saying was, "Darragh will call you." Surprise, surprise, he never did. It's been a solid week of waiting and still no response. This whole experience has been beyond frustrating, and the lack of communication and professionalism from Darragh is simply unacceptable.

The price to place an ad on daft.ie, for which I paid 209 euros, is ridiculously high. The website often glitches. After paying for my advertisement, Daft sends fake messages claiming people are interested in renting the property. When I schedule viewings, they often say they might need the property in two weeks. Additionally, errors frequently occur when trying to update my listing on Daft. The service is absolutely disgraceful. For the amount I paid, this site barely functions, lacking any real service. It's a shame for such a company.

Worst site ever . You apply and apply and apply if its rooms or flats to rent , nooooo answer . Well their computer sends you an aknowledgement that you did ask . Further no feedback nothing . I think they onlybwork on properties where they make profit .... ROOMS ARE BEING ADVERTISED FOR 6 MONTHS STRAIGHT AND NO CHANGE , IS THERE REALLY AN HOUSING CRISIS ???

Originally good but worrying lack of supportDaft started as a half decent site but despite being helpful and having a good standing account, not only do Daft staff refuse to support with an issue but they don’t even reply. This has been going on for over a year.Please heed the warnings on here and stay away. You are much more likely to be scammed and discriminated against in recent times that meet a genuine person on it.

The listing of properties for sale is a joke. A parking space is being listed as a home for sale and even after reporting it nothing has been done to rectify the issue.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
