GoogleJodie and Kelly in particular have been most helpful with our search for rental property. Kelly was very persuasive (in a good way) and arranged and sorted out an ideal accommodation within a week. She provided an excellent service not just for us but also for the landlord and made sure both parties were extremely happy. What I liked most was that she actually matched the two parties very well and went out of her way to do so. Jodie and Kelly were extremely quick at providing satisfactory answers to questions on phone, in person and via email. It was a very smooth process overall for us. In the event that we want to sell or rent out in future we will definitely go to Gascogne Halman in sale.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

TrustpilotOne of the Worst Estate Agents in Sale!
All was fine until we received a quit notice. They harassed us with emails asking when are you leaving? have you found a house? They even threatened to charge us double rent if we overstayed our due leave date. Disorganised and disoriented, all they care about is money. They will quickly collect your rent and deposit but take forever to refund it when you leave. I would rather remain homeless than stay in house managed by Gascoigne!

GoogleWe are currently between purchases and reluctantly decided to explore rental properties. We viewed a property and promptly submitted an offer containing sensitive personal and financial information, from this point the communication from Gascoigne Halman was non-existent / awful. Despite numerous chases nobody came back to me to advise the property had been let out to somebody else, something we later found out ourselves as the property had been marked 'Let Agreed' on on Rightmove. If you're a tenant looking to rent or a landlord (as we are too), looking to market their property look elsewhere!

GoogleI recently worked with them in an attempt to purchase a property. Despite several meetings and numerous emails, I was ultimately unable to complete the purchase due to the lack of attention and support from the estate agent. They seemed disorganized and often failed to provide me with complete or accurate information, which caused delays and confusion throughout the process. Additionally, I found that they were unresponsive to my calls and emails, which further hindered my ability to move forward with the purchase. In the end, I was forced to walk away from the deal due to their inability to effectively manage the process. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service I received from them and would not recommend them to others.

I have reviewed the notes on our file and throughout the process we have maintained continuous communication with you at each stage and calls/emails were returned and proactive phone calls were made to yourself and all parties in the transaction to help progress the matter. We have attempted to assist you on numerous occasions and in particular you have reached out to us for support in getting your solicitor to communicate with you and the vendors solicitor which we did on your behalf. You have never expressed any dissatisfaction with our service throughout the matter so I am surprised to read your comments, we understand that the vendor couldn’t commit to your timescales and this is out of our control and I fully appreciate this was frustrating for you. Our property from signing the Contract, the Brochure was presented in excellent format to being downloaded onto the relevant Sales Sites was SOLD within 48hours of viewing taking place. From the moment Andrew Buckley The Manager called round to our property, his approach was Professional, his presentation impeccable, his local knowledge extended. From the moment Andrew called round & gave his valuation I felt comfortable & reassured that he was the right choice to represent our property to the Market through Gascoigne Halman. We were then with professionalism throughout passed on to Andrew's Team. Daniel Mitchell-Sales Negotiator/Liaison Officer, is their Diamond in their Crown. Daniel was again a fabulous member also, amazing throughout the process of selling our property. Any questions, emails, phone calls all responded to with immediate response. They say selling a property is one of the most stressful experiences of life-I did not feel this Thanks to the whole Team at Sale Branch, down to Tom who arranged our purchaser to view, and Hannah also. We didn't feel the added stress of selling during the lock-down and pandemic, COVID guidance relayed back to viewers So much so the burden of then finding a local Conveyancing Solicitor was also provided/recommended by Gascoigne Halman. They were Shoosmiths Conveyancing Solicitors who took on the logistics regarding the legalities when Exchange of Contracts agreed; they were amazing too. Lettings Team-Kelly/Jodie I was introduced to the Lettings Team The professional & methodical approach from Jodie on the lettings Team. Our house Sale went through so quickly we then had to rent a property ourselves. Which is where I was also introduced to the amazing Kelly. Fabulous, Professional throughout. Again, emails, phone calls all responded to immediately. Properties for let - they were able to match my suitabililty & requirements to a property during this stop-gap stage. A little tip for future Clients viewing with The adorable Kelly-Wear your trainers, take long strides, shes on a mission to save the Universe! All switches that may have been left on while viewing properties are swiftly switched off. Now this is where your trainers come in handy, if viewing another property near by, off Kelly goes on her mission, best foot forward & all that; shes off-in that race as if she in the London underground striding forward to overtake the person who dares to walk ahead!! What a Star. Hannah Sanders handled our sale and I can honestly say that we couldn't have asked for more. She was always professional and polite, and we never had to wait or chase her, as she was always forthcoming with communication, keeping us in the loop and making what could be a very stressful experience incredibly smooth and easy to get through. GoogleI would thoroughly recommend Gascoigne Halman, Sale branch. Especially Dan, he went above and beyond for what was an extremely complex sale. Always on hand trying and succeeding to keep all the cogs turning. I don’t think I could have got this 8mth (yes EIGHT MONTH!) sale without the support and advice given.

GoogleI knew choosing Gascoigne Halman for the sale of my apartment was the right decision. With all the competition and offers like ‘£0 sale fees’ and other such companies my partner took more convincing. Well, I’m happy to say I was right and we were not disappointed! Everyone at the Sale office has been incredible, a big thank you to Tom, Dan, Julie and Annie. The staff are knowledgeable, helpful, friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of viewings booked over 2 specific days as requested due to having a baby, offers received from day 1, Dan talked me through each offer to ensure the right one was best for me, despite all my ‘what if’ questions Dan was patient, knowledgeable and talked me through different outcomes. Unfortunately, as we were buying a new build, stress from the builders sales office they couldn’t take off me (as they insisted on contacting me direct!) but thank you so much Annie and Julie for dealing with everything else. Delays with my management company meant we were dangerously close to the stamp duty cut off date for completion, I panicked more when my solicitors didn’t seem as concerned as me - we all know they work at their own pace! But Annie completely understood and contacted my buyer and his solicitors to get done what needed to be done, as quickly as if I had done it myself - and it was sorted the same day. I can’t thank you enough, I will honestly never use another company. I have bought a few times with other estate agents but the never gave the same level of customer service. Everyone at Gascoigne Halman goes above and beyond which is so refreshing, thank you for helping our move less stressful!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

The sale of my house took place during very difficult circumstances as the U.K. AND ISLE Of MAN were in lock down during different periods during the sale process .I couldn’t visit the property. The property had been rented with Gascoigne Halman for 12 Year before I sold it . The asking price was set at a good level the brochure was produced in a couple of daysand the sale proceeded well .The first buyers who bought the house within days they couldn’t get the mortgage they needed so the house went back on the market and sold again within a relatively short period of time in 5 months Oct to March the whole process was completed.I was kept up to date with emails and phone calls every time there was a viewingI had dealings with mainly one sales person James but when he was off others kept me informed Sue the sales secretary was also good at answering queries connected with the sales process. As I was at a distance I used a solicitor recommended by GH and was pleased with there services I also used an insurance company that was local.During the cold spell when prospective buyers visited James made sue the house was warm enough to prevent issues with burst pipes I was also alerted to problems with the loft door and garage door and was then able to use GH property maintenance to solve several issues.I think James gave the sale a personal touchFor me the all round service GH provided was very helpful in difficult working circumstances .I am very pleased with the outcome and would recommend them

Frances Mason used our family to pump up other offers for the seller. She confirmed after a long and arduous process we'd had our offer accepted. She then encouraged the vendor and buyers carry on viewings in our opinion to gazump us. She knowing didn't send out a memorandum of sale to us for 5 days whilst getting other parties to outbid us. After we paid for searches etc Frances informed us someone had come in with another bid.......from there played us off as an auction for bidding. Then told us we didn't get the house. The next day it was put as STC for the other buyer. Something she refused to do for us in 5 days. She openly admitted on the phone she knew of another bid hence when she didn't do the memorandum of sale.She let us pay for searches while using us a pawn. It was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any kind of company. There was no remorse and I don't know how she sleeps at night for a little but extra of commission.Openly trying to get improved offers and more viewing whilst sending us acceptance confirmation and letting us pay fees is a very very underhanded trick.

What went wrong? Well I was advised by this agency that the property had come off the market once my holding deposit was paid. Upon submitting my credentials for referencing which was with let alliance, I was advised by "Charlotte" a representative at Gascoigne Halman that the landlord has gone with another offer and would rather refund my holding deposit then proceed with my application. Honestly Disappointed with the service provided by this agency. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND GOING WITH THIS AGENCY

GoogleFrom first visit to value to completion of Sale...I would recommend Gascoigne Halman all the way. Their task was not made any easier by the fact that I do not reside in the UK so everything was done from afar! Gascoigne Halman within hours of appointment had viewings arranged. As is not unusual, the sale was not without its problems , however Dan went out of his way to liaise with all parties involved and kept me up to date at every stage, including several long distance phone calls. From marketing to completion in 10 weeks... not bad going.
