GoogleBeautiful location and much quieter than the vicinity of the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. Fewer people are coming here. There are several cafeterias-restaurants with terraces and very beautiful views that are a haven of peace. Dreaming is free.

GoogleAlmost a hidden wee space around the tourist hubbub around Tower Bridge and The Tower of London. Not cheap (but where in central London is), but there's good choice - from the legendary Dicken's Inn to the smallest eateries (I had lunch with a soda for around 12GBP) it's a great tranquil and traffic-free gem.

GoogleTook a stroll around St Katherine Docks with the family on a beautiful summer’s day.
First time at St Katharine Docks and it was very lovely and almost did not feel like you were in the middle of London because it was a marina with lots of boats, restaurants and cafés more.
It is a short walk from Tower Bridge and is definitely worth venturing around this beautiful part of our wonderful city of London.

GoogleAttractive place with a dock and moorings in a residential and office area located on one side of the tower bridge. Whenever we are in London and have the opportunity we visit it, because it has several nice places where we can eat and have a few beers. Busy on weekends, especially if the weather is good. It is home to Dikkens, a huge pub, known for its famous roast beef.

GoogleGreat well managed marina, really enjoy every time we get a chance to go out thought the lock, the facilities are always clean and well maintained to a very high standard.
The staff are helpful and love to chat about the river conditions and answer questions about tides and locking times.

GoogleA small oasis of peace in central London. It takes its name from the former medieval hospital of St Katharine's by the Tower, built in the 12th century, which stood on the site. Today it is a small tourist port full of boats, restaurants and street food. Around the basin you can see the brick buildings that were once used as a warehouse for goods arriving in London. Absolutely recommended!

GoogleFor me as a sailor, one of the most interesting and beautiful places in the city: a marina next to Tower Bridge with several pools, guest boaters, houseboats, old excursion sailors - a lock to the Thames, whose water level changes with the tides;
All around restaurants on the water, mostly well attended, for drinks, brunch, lunch, dinner - picturesque large pub, drawbridges...
I want to live here.
Or lie in my small cruiser - just not in a hot summer like this '22, when it's cooler in the hotel at night.

GoogleA place from which it is very convenient to move to the main tourist sites of London.
Although the surroundings are mainly work buildings, it is a curious environment and pace of life to explore.
A very beautiful area to walk through and with good views of Tower Bridge

GoogleAnother of the places that, if they don't tell you about it, would go unnoticed and you would lose the opportunity to visit it. Just a five-minute walk from De la Torre Bridge, it has stunning views of it. And in addition to walking along the docks, you can have a drink in the different pubs and venues around

GoogleBeautiful for taking a walk and enjoying the panorama. Some nice restaurants and cafes and lots of seating overall. There is a 1 star deduction due to... the (probably normal for London) lack of rubbish bins and because I'm almost desperate to find a public toilet (:
