I worked with Elliot Rainbow who has a strong ethos on quick responses and customer service, always on the phone when we need him or the PM team, who I have dealt with Phoebe Maloney and Gary Cole for any issues. During the time with EB I have purchased a buy to let and sold a one bedroom in West London via the sales team, both the selling and buying process were fluent. I was given details about a flat I was interested by a representative of Ernest-Brooks International,which turned out not to be true. I paid a £1000.00 to this company on condition not to pass on to any body else and to return this money if anything was not as described. For weeks I have been asking for my money and am still waiting. That is dishonest.

Hi Michael, I have reviewed your file. You reserved a property introduced by Ernest-Brooks via Weston Homes, after speaking to their show home and signing their non-refundable reservation form. We are not Weston Homes, as per the reservation form you signed we don’t hold your deposit. You may contact the developer on the details on the bottom of your signed reservation form to request your deposit back at their digression. We did of course request such on your behalf, yet as you signed a legal document with them and decided to withdraw, they can of course refuse. We are not Western Homes so please remove the review and proceed down the correct channels.

GoogleI believe that the 4.8 star rating has been achieved by either the company’s own employees or people paid to rate the company.
I regret renting with Ernest-Brooks. I thought that renting with a smaller company would mean they’d be more attentive towards their customers. However, it has proven quite the opposite. It has been impossible to get a response from Ernest-Brooks even during emergencies such as the fire alarm going off for no apparent reason, mold present in the property, boiler not working, and any maintenance work around the house.
Never in my life was I ghosted and gaslighted by the company I paid to get services from.

- no career progression and if there is, salary jump is the bare minimum. People that have progressed are personal friends of the directors. - in terms of mental wellbeing, the CEO’s do not value mental health, they are very mean and instead of helping they will just belittle you in front of the whole office, which can be very embarrassing. This definitely impacts performance as you will feel like you are always on edge. - work relationships amongst colleagues and directors are very unprofessional. - poor management - vibe is really boring, it’s not somewhere you would be excited to go to everyday, especially if you’re around 20/30 years old. - really long hours, most times you will probably have to stay back and no rewards. - blaming culture

Trustpilot### An Unprofessional and Distressing Experience
I have been a tenant with Ernest-Brooks International for the past three years, and my experience has been far from satisfactory. From the very beginning, the team at Ernest-Brooks has demonstrated a high level of unprofessionalism. For two years, I persistently requested that they repair the broken tiles in the bathroom. Each time, they shifted the blame onto the landlord, claiming that the landlord had not approved the repairs. I know for certain this was untrue. The situation worsened due to internal conflicts between the co-founders, which led to a data breach of our personal information. This breach resulted in people coming to our doorstep, demanding that we pay rent directly to them instead of to Ernest-Brooks. This was an alarming and distressing experience. Subsequently, we were abruptly asked to vacate the property by the Ernest-Brooks team. They claimed the landlady had decided to sell the property, which again, I believe to be false. The attitude of Ernest-Brooks towards tenants is appalling. They seem to operate under the assumption that they own their tenants, which is an unacceptable and outdated notion. No human being has the right to 'own' another, and this perspective is nothing short of modern-day slavery.Ernest-Brooks International is built on very poor principles and lacks the professionalism and integrity required to manage properties and relationships with tenants effectively. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Hi Omar,Unfortunately, if your landlord instructs us to serve you notice and your contract permits it, we have no choice but to comply. This also applies to maintenance issues, such as a broken tile that doesn't affect the use of the property; if the landlord won't authorise the repair of a cracked tile, we cannot proceed with the work. We cannot comment on whether the landlord wishes to sell the property or not; we can only act on the instructions given by the legal owner, your landlord.I hope you had an enjoyable three years in the property. I am sorry your landlord decided to sell the property and evict you, but please understand that this decision is beyond our control.Best regards,
