We decided to go with Dexters after other estate agents had failed to make any significant progress on the sale of our flat. Unlike many of their competitors Dexters do not rely on gathering pointless internet stats on the number of online viewings, they actually get people through the door which is what is needed to secure a sale. We had a slight hiccup when a trainee conducted the first viewing and failed to give us the appropriate feedback but once this was pointed out, Adam and the team were very pro-active, and we had a steady stream of viewings and regular feedback. Despite the number of similar properties on the market in our area and the added pressure of time to secure a buyer, with Adam’s help we were able to achieve a sale.

I don't normally review estate agents but Dexters went over and above to get things sorted for our move with our challenging timescale. Nathan was excellent and made the whole process easy - especially working around our shift patterns. The only thing that didn't go perfectly to plan was the (external) check-in company who didn't turn up on time but the branch manager, Robert, dealt with it straight away on Saturday morning. Would definitely use again and highly recommend!

Let down by poor communication within the company

Unfortunately we were let down by this letting agent yesterday. We had a 6pm viewing for a house in Hayes, I drove 1h in rush hour traffic to visit the property and on arriving I was met by the agent who informed me that the locks had been changed that day and his key did not work, so we could not access the property.He was very apologetic and I understand he was also frustrated as he himself had spent 45 minutes travelling to the property.He did offer to rearrange a viewing but I was so disappointed in the lack of organisation (how can it be that locks are changed and the letting agent/property managers are not informed?) and frustrated at the waste of my time and petrol (2 hours round trip) that I will not be using this company going forwards.I would have left 1 star but the letting agent was truly apologetic and did remain professional in the situation.
