GoogleThieves. We made such an accurate report & clean up of the flat to ensure we wouldn’t get charged from the deposit back in the day. We had read terrible reviews about them and wanted to triple ensure we would not get charged... They claimed a tea spoon was missing and charged £25!!! You can imagine the rest... They tool hundreds of pounds. And sadly taking them to the ombudsman was far too complicated. They take advantage of the crappy tenant conditions in London, and that they do very well... Avoid at all cost.

GoogleShamefully bad ethics. Outright illegal behavior. I have dealt with Chase Evans Pan Peninsula twice (tenancies) and every single time they have incredulously cheated me out of my rights and money. Once they deducted from my deposit part of the landlord's service charge even though I wasn't liable for it. Even though this was illegal the only way to get my money was to take them to court. Second time they took my deposit to hold and secure an apartment. After they took my holding (secure the flat) deposit, they then gave the apartment to a higher bidding tenant whilst they still had the deposit, without giving me the opportunity to match the higher rate. They then defended this decision religiously saying 'it was up to the landlord to accept or decline'. They were rude about this too, as if I was asking for something above and beyond my rights. This is actually illegal when you break it down. Except you need somebody to sue them on a DAILY BASIS just to get your rights from them. This is not an accident, it has happened to me twice with this agency. I have spoken to colleagues who shared nightmare stories with Chase Evans. A colleague of mine (thoroughly known for her understated honest manner) explained how this estate agency once took a holding (secure the apartment) deposit and then offered the apartment to a higher bidding tenant (just like my case) - without agreeing to give the money back! I hope they give me my money back. They really are dirty and I urge you not to fall into the misery that is dealing with this agent. I don't think all agents are bad. Life Residential, for example, who I have dealt with for 4 years are actually all right. They are transparent and include an extensive escalation hierarchy with e-mails etc. They are respectful and considerate and not defensive. It's remarkable that Chase Evans can behave like this without any consequence.

GooglePoor excuse for a real estate agency. If you want a professional and buttoned up agent who genuinely cares for your needs and not just for a quick commission, look elsewhere. Except for the viewing process (that's why they get one star), all the other services provided were characterised by a lacklustre professionalism and indifference, yet the fees are nothing but premium and one would expect a much better service. From not sending out the contract in time to not helping out with simple queries, Chase Evans exhibited the worst possible customer care. But when it came to collecting rent, all of sudden they were way ahead of schedule. During the whole process (which is somewhat still ongoing), I was more than punctual with all the payments and had to jump through hoops to sort things out when it wasn't my responsibility, losing countless hours even during work hours. Have several friends who want to relocate in the area - needless to say, I have warned them to steer clear of Chase Evans.

Googleit was a great experience to rent a flat from chase Evans. People there are nice and patient, the most important thing is the office is very close to my flat, so I can contact them very easily when I have problems with my property. I remember the guy whose name is Kiko, he is a really nice person. he is very warm-hearted and very patient to solve each problems with the flat. also, when I had difficulty to make choice they patiently and friendly help me select the most suitable one which can best fit in my requirements. if you are looking for a reliable property agent, this one is vary worth to consider.
