Having just completed the sale of my house it is with great pleasure to write this review of the Lutterworth team.If Ali, Deborah or Helen are representative of the whole team at Lutterworth then they are without doubt the best estate agents I’ve ever dealt with. From start to finish they were helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble even if it meant working on days they should have been off to support a colleague to ensure I got the best possible service. 🎶 Always calling when they say they will is why I love them still’ is such a good line for this team.I can’t thank nor recommend them enough 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

Howkins and Harrison LutterworthWe bought and purchased through Howkins and Harrison Lutterworth and can honestly say that from start to finish they have been great 👍 All through the purchase and sale of both properties we have received almost daily updates (certainly towards the end) from the team keeping us informed which has made the sale and purchase less stressful than it certainly could have been. Deborah especially has gone above and beyond to ensure everything was exchanged and completed smoothly and to be honest without her I think I would have pulled my hair out, she really is wonderful and becomes more like a friend than an estate agent! Alison and Beth also deserve a mention as they have been fantastic to deal with, Beth on the Sale side and Alison on the purchase side, they really are a great team and I would use them again in a heartbeat!

We purchased through Howkins and Harrison Lutterworth. From the moment we arranged a viewing they were great. They kept us up to date through the whole process with weekly emails about how the move was progressing. Deborah especially was amazing and went over and above to get our house move through. We had some issues with our buyers / their solicitors and we knew the people we were buying from wanted to get their house through so we’re fearful of it falling through. She gave us multiple options and ideas on how to make sure the house got to completion which you do not always get as it is not the easy option - and she listened to us ranting about the process which she didn’t need to do. Everyone involved in the team have been so fantastic taking everything in their stride and dealt with all of the complexities we had along the way. Alison and Beth have also been lovely to speak to at the viewings and on the phone going over and above to make the process as smooth as possible for us. I would highly recommend this estate agents (which I never thought I would say about an estate agents but they really have shown us there are some fantastic ones out there).

Possible Relocation

We recently spoke to several letting agents as we are thinking of relocating in the near future and hoping to be able to let out our house. Out of all the people we spoke to we found Lisa Swinnerton the most helpful and knowledgeable and she seemed genuinely passionate about her job and Howkins. If I could have given them zero stars I…

If I could have given them zero stars I would have. I viewed a property close to me so I knew the area well and what the market was for properties. After the viewing, I rang H&H to ask some questions about the property and was told there was nobody available to answer my questions, but that someone would ring me back. So I told the person I was speaking to that I was a buy to let landlord and that I was a cash buyer. Most times you cannot get estate agents off the phone but when nobody had contacted me by the middle of the next day I chased the estate agent - a first for me. I was passed to someone who asked me what my questions were......fortunately I was able to remember them and, to be fair the person I was speaking to was able to answer them to my satisfaction. So I made an offer and was just told that the figure would not be passed to the vendor. Then silence. So I made another offer and was told this would be passed to the vendor.IF YOU ARE A BUYER OR BUY TO LET LANDLORD USE ANOTHER ESTATE AGENT IF YOU CAN!!!!!

I am in the process of purchasing a property that Howkins and Harrison had up for sale.I cannot speaking highly enough of one member of staff that has gone above and beyond for me to get this sale completed.After being off for two weeks she came back and I called her at 9-15 on the morning of her return by lunchtime she had the answers that I had been waiting for over a month for my solicitor to get!!She literally set too until she got the answers. She also helped to sort the completion date as again the solicitor was getting no where!She was constantly in contact with me to keep me updated.I highly recommend the excellent work that Angie did for me and she is truly a valuable asset to Howkins and Harrison’s.

Howkins and Harrison Lutterworth recently handled the sale of my house in Gilmorton, which had been tenanted for 10 years. I cannot praise the team enough for the care and professionalism shown throughout the whole process. The actual sale itself took just a few days, but involved a lot of effort from Ali, Deborah and Beth with many viewings resulting in multiple offers. Once the sale had been agreed the work did not stop. I was kept informed on a regular basis as to the progress of the sale, my house was regularly checked as it was empty, both my solicitor and the buyers solicitor were contacted as and when appropriate, the buyer was chased if necessary. Right down to the day of completion the team took as much care as if it was the sale of their own property. I would 100% recommend the Lutterworth team, they are a credit to the company.

Letting and Management

Howkins and Harrison have dealt with the letting and management of my property for over 10 years. Recently the long-term tenants vacated, and the property needed reletting. The whole team at H&H were helpful and professional in ensuring the rent was set appropriately and new tenants secured promptly. All paperwork and legislation was shared and the new tenants have moved in only a few days after the works at the house were completed. Great service all round.
