It was a distinct breath of fresh air when I went to a viewing with Tom this week. There was no sense of "switching on" the sales patter which I realised I'd gotten tired of from other viewings lately. Tom was relaxed, informative, and essentially genuinely helpful. There were no awkward, pressured silences, and I simply had a much more pleasant time viewing. Which I genuinely appreciated, and want to feed back as something he should continue. It felt like he was there to help, rather than to "sell".

I had the pleasure to have Tom and Tina from Hamwic on the purchase of my first home. They were exceptional to say the least, Tom was knowledgeable when showing me around the property and very approachable with questions i had. Tina was very reassuring and helpful giving me check ins whenever i needed to ensure i knew everything that was going on and giving me expert advise. Whether buying or selling they were exactly what i would want my estate agent to be and i could not recommend them highly enough. Not to mention the wonderful gifts they provided me for moving in. We used Hamwics Totton for our recent house purchase. Hugely grateful for the service provided. Hamwic seems to be unique in having integrity in the way they market properties- no fisheye lenses or exaggerations. This really does increase confidence that they are telling the truth and actually care about the customer. Tom was super helpful in showing us a few properties and getting a sense of what we wanted and then showing us the house we eventually bought. Thanks to Ray too for giving us an extra tour despite the inconvenience. Professional, friendly, efficient and all round good ethical people. Highly recommend.

This was the second time we have moved with Hamwics involvement. The first time was just purchasing, this time was with the sale of our old property and purchase of our new one. On both occasions the service has been excellent. From the start everyone involved was very helpful and knowledgeable. Our first sale fell through and getting re-listed for viewings was done instantly. Once we had a chain they were brilliant in keeping in touch with updates through the chain, right up to the eventual completion date which was over a year after we started. Thanks to Ray, Tom, Tina and the rest of the team! We don’t plan to move again but if we do we wouldn’t hesitate to go back to Hamwics.

We had an absolutely outstanding experience buying our first home through Hamwic Estate Agents. As first-time buyers, their patience and kindness were truly invaluable and we couldn't recommend them highly enough for buying, viewing or selling a property. The entire team was exceptional. All the way through from first viewing to picking up the keys. Tom was the agent who was dealing with our property, he was always happy to answer our numerous questions and consistently quick to respond. A huge thank you especially to Tina, the wonderful office administrator. Tina kept us regularly updated and was a lifesaver, providing crucial support and assistance when dealing with difficult solicitors. We were grateful for the flexibility of multiple viewings for measuring and final checks and particularly appreciated being left to look around ourselves after the first viewing, it allowed us to take our time and felt completely zero-pressure while also having Tom there to answer questions. If we ever need to move, we will definitely be using Hamwic again. A five-star service from start to finish!

Having recently sold our house with Hamwic I would throughly recommend them. Our first communication’s with Tom remained outstanding throughout. Tina was always available to keep us updated or answer any questions we had, she’s such a lovely lady. Ray was brilliant when we had a small issue towards the end of the sale of our house and kept us level headed when we were feeling a little irritated and overwhelmed. We had such a good experience we recommended them to others, who in turn have also sold through Hamwic.

I got 3 quotes for selling my house, the 3rd quote was from Hamwics, I warmed to Ray straight away, he was professional, friendly and honest from the start, I liked that Hamwics was a small independent firm with a good name and reviews, hence to say this is who I chose to sell my house,Richard came round to do the photos and the write up, again the same attributes as Ray, I was sent everything within a couple of days to check over and change anything if I felt I needed to, I didn't need to change anything it was perfect.Tom carried out the viewings and although there was only a few I did get a sale, he was very knowledgeable and listened to what I had to say, I was kept informed throughout the whole process by Tina and the team who obviously work well together, thank you to you all.I won't hesitate to recommend your business to others.

We bought our local 'down-sizing' and 'future-proofing' bungalow through Hamwic, and were very satisfied indeed with their service levels and professionalism right the way through the viewing and purchasing saga. In particular, they liaised with our vendors and our sale agents promptly, clearly and effectively throughout -- especially in relaying a number of questions and answers back and forth, and arranging for additional viewings. Their attitude, local knowledge, communications and helpfulness really did a lot to make what can be a very stressful process go smoothly.

I can’t recommend Hamwic Estate Agents highly enough. Turned up to enquiry about a property, refused any information, didn't introduce themselves or ask my name etc. I was told I could go on the mailing list but I don't fancy being hounded for properties I don't like. I won't be returning. ***Update*** Thanks for finally replying, only took six years. Impressive turnaround time. Unfortunately, your version of events still doesn’t match what actually happened. So while your memory seems surprisingly confident after six years, mine is based on the actual experience I had. I stand by my original review.

My experience with Hamwic was a very pleasurable one. They sold my late father’s bungalow at a good competitive price (significantly more than another local estate agent suggested!) and they provided a very friendly and professional service throughout the whole process. They kept me updated regularly and I would certainly recommend them and I would use them again should the need arise.

I sold my house through Hamwic, after being with another estate agent previously who I found really difficult and poor communication, Hamwic were the total opposite. Not your typical estate agents very much more honest and personable. I dealt with Richard initially who kept me fully informed with viewings and offers and made sure all the viewings were organised together rather than the odd one here and there which really helped with stress levels. Just want to say a massive thank you to Tina who was fantastic and kept me sane through the whole selling process- the agents I was buying through didn’t keep me informed at all but Tina really made the effort and found out what was going on for me she really went above and beyond. Thank you so much you guys are amazing, would 100% recommend

Although they were acting on behalf of their client, they went above and beyond to ensure that the sale progressed including contacting our (not so great) agents to ensure progress and kept us informed at every stage. Profissional is none. Respect for potential clients none. They cancelled my viewing 2 hours before happening. Not even thinking what stress was this gone cause to a family that is not local to Totton. And why? Because the got the perfect offer on the property. Commitments should be respected. all the booked viewings shoud be completed and than evaluate the best offer on the table.
