Austin Wyatt Winchester came round my property without asking and let themselves in. When’inspecting’ they take many photos and videos of my possessions, excessive, like 20 pictures per room. 2 x 2h viewings conducted whilst I was living there. Confirmed by Josh, the ‘manager’ my house was ‘as it was 12m ago’ then claim for a load of lies. The manager broke data protection by discussing the previous Tennant with me as there was a dispute, funnily enough. Renting is bad enough, if you have to do it avoid these lot.

I would give Austin & Wyatt no stars if that was an option, but unfortunately you have to select at least one. Our experience was extremely disappointing. We found the communication poor, the service unprofessional, and we were left feeling very let down throughout the process. Despite us progressing with the purchase of the property, it continued to be advertised as for sale and further viewings were still being arranged, causing unnecessary stress and uncertainty. The manager, Russell, was particularly disappointing. His manner and the way he dealt with us was not professional, and his approach left my partner so upset that she was reduced to tears. Thankfully, we decided to walk away and found our amazing home elsewhere with an estate agent who treated us with the respect and professionalism we expected. Based on our experience, I would not recommend Austin & Wyatt.

Really friendly guys, purchased my first home with them and they were lovely, although we were highly pressured into using their solicitors with risk of the sale falling through if we didn’t. Two years later, have just gone to remortgage and I am not able to, because the solicitors did not complete the paperwork correctly. I am now paying a high interest rate until it’s resolved (which is looking to be a while at the speed their recommended solicitors do anything).

A nice friendly lot of staff but lack the ability to return calls/queries, not returning messages that I had to chase them and didn't recognise me when I entered the office even after 3 months of dealing with them. When I informed them that 2 kitchen appliances weren't in the new property I moved into and it had been agreed via email that they would be, they weren't bothered and didn't enquire as to why. I felt disappointed with their customer service to be honest.

My house had been on the market with another agency but due to a lack of viewings and communication I asked Austin & Wyatt in Totton to take over the sale and I'm so pleased that I did. The difference was amazing, from the professional photographs and video. the process of showing the house to suitable potential buyers followed by feedback on each viewing, to Russell dealing with both solicitors very proactively. After our aunt passed away! The family home had sadly come to market . After being in our family since the 1930's . Never ever again

We rented with Austin&Wyatt Bournemouth, great at first couldnt do more for us. However over months our home became covered in mould and damp. No fault of ours! Bit Austin&Wyatt and countrywide and our landlord didnt want to know. We in the end had to go to the council, in return we had a load of abuse from our landlord and our 4 year old was scared to be at home and never wanted to go home. What made it even worse is we had to get rid of a lot of our belongings when we moved due to the mould that had got to it. We have now had to start again. Honestly the worst experience of my life. And with my child and trying to keep them healthy too. Oh and the 1 star id actually give it 0!

Disinterested, non-existent service

Austin & Wyatt Bournemouth: It was only when I threatened to terminate the contract that they pulled their finger out and started allowing viewings. The sales process took an entire year thanks to the buyer’s solicitor (recommended by Austin Wyatt). The entire process has been nothing but stress. This was our first time buying and it definitely was not at all as stressful as our friends and family had found it previously. I believe that is all due to our mortgage advisor, Nicole Jones. Throughout the whole process, even when we had a couple of small blips, Nicole was always available for us to ask questions to, or to ask for information on the next steps. We could not thank Nicole enough for not only doing her job, but going above and beyond to ensure that we secured the property that we loved (even if that meant restarting/amending applications or making contact with various people) as well as making sure everyone involved was meeting their specific time frames and had all the up to date information.
