GoogleI have lived in South Hamm's for 18 months. It's not a bad place, but ready to move on now. The worst aspect of the area is South Hamm's district council. Any department, any service, or office is absolutely the most pathetic and inefficient to be found anywhere in the country. That includes Cornwall !!!!

Google13 weeks now without having our bins collected. Our road is also closed due to a collapsed wall and they’re refusing to fix this, stating it is a highway issue, even though it’s not the road that’s at fault. Absolute shambles.

GoogleThe only thing that you can physically see you get from paying your council tax is having your bins emptied is now no longer happening. I don't believe things can get any worse.

GoogleThis is an extremely unhelpful system, you are lucky if you actually get to speak to a person, if you do you seem to get fobbed off and made to send an email, which takes three days to get a reply, what a waste of time.

GooglePhoned the council offices today and spoke with both council Tax dept and Customer Services and found both to be more than helpfull.Can not fault them.Especially after dealing with Birmingham and North Warks.
