GoogleAfter being on the market for 15 months, having had two viewings the first month, nothing progressed, and one viewing this last month. All through this time, not much positive feedback except why don’t you drop your price. This is a Four bedroom Semi House in an easy to get to location with access to all amenities within 5 mins.

Very unprofessional once they had our signature on the sales contract. No follow ups so buyer started haranguing me instead then pulled out because the support wasn’t there. A particularly dopey assistant left the door unlocked after a viewing and the entire office moved without telling me. A really shabby customer service

I rented my house out through Fulfords. Initially it was positive as the house was marketed well. Despite paying a management fee, I at times had to manage the house myself, reminding them to carry out repairs, not having emails replied to, and being charged over the odds by a team who were far too cosy to be professional with their contractors. Fulfords lost sight of the fact that they were engaged by me to manage the property, and also lost sight that it was my house.

GoogleI have had occasion to use Fulfords to sell a property in Totnes as part of the disposal of the estate of a deceased friend. This has been a particularly difficult time to sell, due to the present economical climate and Fulfords have frequently kept me in touch with the situation. I live a considerable distance from Totnes so was most grateful for their help in many small ways. Checking on the heating, the mail, and the general appearance of the property for example, which meant a great relief for me and my fellow Executor. The staff, Alice, Simon and Jason were unfailingly helpful and I would recommend this company to anyone needing the services of an Estate Agent.

GoogleNot all surprised by James' experience as a vendor as detailed below - Fulfords are extraordinarily dismissive of potential buyers and are limiting their client pool to pure cash buyers: We enquired to view a property advertised by Fulfords. First exchange: Fulfords is not allowing viewings by potential buyers who do not have an offer on their own property, which we did not then have, although our house was advertised for sale. So we waited until we had received an offer on our property and then re-engaged 2 weeks later. I was taken aback when I was told Fulfords would need to speak to our agent to confirm we had received an offer, but fine - doesn't feel great to be called a liar, but if that's the only way to see this property... But then Fulfords said they would need to see copies of my bank statements for proof of funds before arranging a viewing. I did try re-explaining that we would be funding the purchase through the sale of our home, but the agent was adamant - we could not book a viewing unless I provided this. Maybe there is sufficient demand in the market to limit the potential pool of home buyers to 100% cash buyers who are prepared to share their bank statements before even seeing a property. But dissatisfied vendors like James below may wish to consider other agents in the area who are also allowing viewings to other interested buyers who plan to fund their purchase from the sale of their home or using a mortgage. In the meantime, the property we are interested to see with a view to making an offer remains unsold and on the market. UPDATE: Subsequently contacted by Fulfords to explain they will accept confirmation from our agent of the offer, whether it is proceedable and our recent mortgage statement to confirm affordability - In order to arrange a viewing. All in all, by this point, I chose to concentrate our search on other properties.

I recently offered on a property with Fulfords Newton Abbot and as I was porting a mortgage, the property being chain free and ready to move at pace was really important to me. I was assured of both, but neither were true. I ended up pulling out of the transaction as I couldn't risk losing my mortgage product. I'm currently out of pocket for the search fees - Fulfords will be hearing more about that.

Exeter branch lettings do not go near this company your property will be wrecked in no time they don't inspect even when you have concerns, they take the money quick enough these companies have to be named and shamed Susan Cooke happy to put my name to this grievance, to be very precise , it is the Exeter lettings branch, Paris street I believe .

We have three flats which we rent through Fulfords, Exeter branch. Recently 2 of the flats became vacant at the same time, and we had a long list of things to go through with the agents. Both Aaron and Josh have worked very hard to answer all our queries, helped with our requests and of course most importantly to find new tenants. We found the contact process with the office very smooth, receiving calls and emails to keep us informed of viewings and updates on cleaning etc. One of the previous tenants had arrears, and Aaron did a great job with chasing them up, liaising with the tenant regarding terms of release from the contract. We found both Aaron and Josh to be very knowledgeable. Also if one of them was away there was a smooth handover between them, meaning we were never having to explain things from the start. They both always knew what was going on. Both are a credit to Fulfords, we know our flats are in good hands.

Fulfords Plymouth really dropped the ball. Promised move in dates and then at the last second pulled out. Have to now scramble to find a new place to stay ahead of my flight- 4 days before my flight. Thank you Fulfords, threw my whole move up in the air.

Seem incapable of following instructions. We asked them to let us know when they had arranged viewings for - they didn’t. We told them the property was under offer with another agent and asked them to stop viewings - they didn’t. Have zero faith in them when they can’t follow simple requests and will not deal with them again.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
