We had cause to use use them to view a few properties & we put an offer in one but they sat on the offer 😕 & up sold it previous people whom seen it months ago & we had offered asking price They want you to use there in house solicitors & there people to take the mortgage so in my book they are all on commission from all of the people they recommend Worst Estate Agents I ever used

My partner and I had a great experience letting our new flat. We were feeling defeated after trying to schedule viewings with other agencies in the area only to be told that there were no viewings available. When we called Miller Countrywide about a property, the customer service was top notch, and we were booked for a viewing the next day. Sam was our letting agent and he was great. He was so helpful and genuinely friendly. It was easy to communicate with the agency and they were prompt with getting us into our new place. Overall, it was just a great experience.

Awful experience

Awful experience. They kept losing my details. Finally booked a property valuation, but then no-one bothered to turn up. Instead of apologing for wasting my time they described it as a "miscommunication", did not offer to come out that day or the day after, but in a week's time. If they don't want the chance to sell a beautiful cottage with a large garden and awesome views they clearly aren't going to make any effort to sell a property. Lucky escape - but a huge waste of my time.

An excellent viewing with Daryl of Miller…

I made contact with Daryl JONES of Miller Camborne. Daryl was positive friendly and proactive, traits in my experience have been lacking in other estate agents in the area Daryl responded quickly to my enquiry and provide excellent directions to access the property. At the viewing Daryl was insightful and knowledgeable of both the property and local area which was a tremendous help. Daryls helpful demeanour and knowledge are an asset to the business and made the viewing a pleasant unrushed experience. In my property search in Cornwall having dealt with over ten agents Daryl has been head and shoulder above his contemporaries from other agencies.

I cannot praise Miller , particularly Sales , enough. My Aunt and I had been searching for our future home, without success. We decided to walk to a Road we had always liked and Aaron was coming out of a property there . He could have said to ring the office, but no , this is an exceptional young man . He took the time to take all our details, what we needed the house to have , and said he'd be in touch. The very next day , as promised, he sent over property details , kept in touch making courtesy calls to see how we are and how our search was progressing. We would not go past Miller in Torquay. Miller are extremely lucky to have him , he's not a typical estate agent, he has integrity, which is extremely rare.

I have had two lots of dealings with Miller Countrywide, Torquay. The first was around five years ago, when at that time, these Letting Agents did leave somewhat to be desired. However I am now involved with them again as Letting Agents for a Flat in a different part of Torquay and I have nothing but praise for them, especially for Lucy Vans-Colina whom I have dealt with the most. The staff at Miller Countrywide have shown kindness and professionalism, as well as a firm resolve to overcome any problems that have arisen whilst becoming a Tenant of theirs once again. A small amount of work has been required in respect of the Flat I am moving into and without any delay Lucy very kindly got hold of the Firm of Contractors that Millers use and the Contractor who visited the Flat was very polite, competent and reassuring. All in all I am very pleased to be involved with these Letting Agents as one of their tenants. May they go from strength to strength.

Forget who they’re working for

The Truro office managed the sale of my parents’ house. I would describe them as energetic but dealing with them was very frustrating. Main criticisms: 1. Persuading us we could get a higher price than other agents were saying. An outlier is usually just that, we didn’t know better. 2. Losing sight of who they were working for. It felt they were acting for the buyer at almost every part of the process. 3. Interfering with the work of my solicitor. It was very unhelpful to find them acting as a back channel when my solicitor was dealing with the buyers’ lawyer. 4. Negotiating on behalf of the buyers, trying to persuade us to meet extra, unnecessary costs and go the extra mile to complete the sale. Overall I really could not recommend Miller Countryside.

Living up to the *** in Miller***rywide!

Previously rented through MCW and thank God we no longer have to deal with them. I know renters don't really get a say in which letting company to go with but if at all possible, I'd steer well clear. The list of sleazy practices and unwillingness to deal with basic repairs is honestly too long to list. Let's just say that the term property "management" is a bit of a stretch... If you're considering letting out your property through them, just be aware that they were happy to leave us to sort out a kerosene flooded property for several months until we were finally able to end our contract (and breathe in some none-polluted air, without the windows open 24/7). To be fair to them, they did send out a wooden flooring expert after months of calls and emails... who was able to confirm that the floors were constructed of concrete. If this is the kind of competence you're looking for when it comes to managing your investment, good luck to you :D

Emma McLuckie at MillerCW was an absolute stand out. She not only managed to squeeze us into viewings for all the property we wanted to see, she also recommended some others. I had the pleasure and privilege of being helped and supported by Laura Stuart. The factors leading me to require the support of Miller were due to my relationship ending badly and Laura was very sympathetic to my situation. I also have ADHD and sometimes my lack of attention and patience can be difficult for others to deal with. But not Laura. She had lorry loads of empathy, patience, understanding and professionalism. She made a usually negative experience for me a very positive one. Because of that it's made the whole process a positive one for me. Thank you Laura.
