GoogleHad our property on the market for 5 months and not one viewing, completely over values property to draw you in and get you to sign the contract. Moved our house to another local estate agent and house sold within first week of going on the market with them. Does not communicate well and when my partner went into the office while we had the property on the market with them, the owner Mr Couch asked who he was and what property he had come to discuss!!!
Thank you for your comments, we are glad your sold your property - however it was on the market with us in 2020, and withdrawn in February 2021 during which time there were certain prevailing market trends and of course there are two sides to every story. We can but wish you well for the future.

GoogleWe were so impressed with the quality of service that we received from John Couch and his team. We comment from the buyers point of view and they kept us informed every step of the way. They would definitely be our first choice for selling or buying in the area. Always friendly, professional and we never had to chase them. They frequently had more information than our own agents and alleviated any worries that we had. GoogleI genuinely don't think you will find a better Torbay based agent than John and his team of consummate professionals. We are delighted that they found the ideal buyers who clearly appreciated the efforts we made in completely transforming a 1960's bungalow into very versatile quality modern home. We are delighted that our purchasers love their new home and are now putting their own unique stamp on it! We spent quite some time comparing the various agents available, and although each of the three agents we shortlisted seemed very professional, John and his team had the edge in giving us the confidence we needed to assure us they would do their utmost to achieve the sale price we needed in order to proceed with our next purchase back in Cornwall. Bev helped considerably in this process utilising her excellent negotiating skills and nothing was ever too much trouble, tweaking brochure details and professional quality photos here and there until everyone was happy! It was a really positive team effort and viewing feedback was always good and specific. Good relevant advice was always available and Eileen ensured the process was as smooth as possible by frequent friendly monitoring! She also helped confirm our choice of solicitor and again have no hesitation in recommending Tracy of Darby & Darby in St Marychurch for this aspect of the process. We have sold several homes in the past but none have been as straightforward and smooth as this. To summarise, if you have a home in Torbay, especially one that is a little unusual in a good location and that would benefit from good traditional targeted marketing combined with online exposure, then I have no hesitation in recommending John and his team.
