We had a really great experience with Fairmonts while purchasing our new home. They were acting for the sellers, but honestly, they were far more professional and on the ball than the estate agent we used to sell our own property. You can genuinely tell they care about their customers and want things to go smoothly. A special mention to Robin, who was incredibly proactive throughout the whole process. Whenever things didn’t go quite to plan (as they often don’t with house moves), he stepped in and helped keep everything moving forward. Communication was always clear and timely, and they remained professional and helpful at every stage. We’re hoping to be in this house for many years, but when the time does come to move again, we wouldn’t hesitate to use Fairmonts.

Moving house is always an anxious time, especially when it’s been some time since you did it last so choosing the right Estate Agent to support and guide you is fairly critical in reducing that anxiety. We did the customary ‘Google Review’ searches on-line and chose some local agents to visit us and talk through our options. There was much talk about other properties selling prices, market trends, fees, contracts etc, “I’m the manager, one of my team will look after you”, “if you get better price let me know, we’ll match or beat it”, all very transaction driven and vey impersonal. Then we met from Jack from Abshot Estates, and what a breath of fresh air he turned out to be. He arrived punctually and after the initial general pleasantries, His first question was, “Before we go forward, what’s important to me is that I believe I can help you so can you tell me about your situation and what it is you’re trying to achieve from selling your property”? After we had spoken for some time and Jack had a good understanding of our needs, he said he thought he could help us and only then did he explain the history of Abshot and how he felt they were best placed to guide and support us through our journey. In that first visit Jack made many promises about what he and his team could do to help us…and then went on kept every single one of them. When there were difficulties with our own purchase and we were struggling to get answers we contacted Abshot. Even though they were not selling the house we were buying, they got involved anyway, got the answers we needed, kept things moving and all with great clarity and calmness. We cannot recommend Jack and his team highly enough and the adage, ‘big enough to cope, small enough to care’ is very apt in Abshot Estates case, who offer a personalised approach to moving house, tailored to your individual needs, supported by a ‘World Class’ team, who keep their promises and communicate clearly. An excellent seamless compassionate experience with Abshot Estates. The team here have just successfully guided us through a complex housing chain to achieve a very happy outcome for us. I don't believe without them we would have moved due to their extremely hard work, dedication, communication and perseverance to get the job done. From the start Jack will spend time guiding you through the process, providing an accurate valuation on your home that doesn't result in the agent calling you after 2 weeks to suggest dropping the price, like so many others who over value to get you to sign up with them. The photographer was excellent, taking carefully thought out pictures of all the rooms and outside. Communication is impeccable with great use of a what's app group chat once on the market. Feedback was swiftly communicated after viewings and once an offer was made and accepted the team continue to work with you rather than palm you off to another department. The 3 staff members at Abshot continue to treat you with the same respect and compassion from start to finish. When the chain got complicated they held it together, making constant calls and even working on behalf of those lower in the chain despite them not even being with Abshot. This was to make sure the desired end result was achieved. Questions were answered swiftly, even outside office hours and there was always reassurance when things got sticky. Even on the final day, Abshot worked tirelessly to ensure all loose ends were tied up until completion. Don't hesitate to contact the knowledgeable, helpful and friendly team at Abshot when it's time to sell your home. You won't be disappointed! Thanks Jack, Amy and Becca for all your hard work!

Abshot estate agents weren’t directly working for us, they were actually the agents for the sellers of the house which we bought. This is the first time I’ve ever encountered estate agent envy! By the time we eventually moved into our lovely new home, I felt like I wanted to be paying Abshots the commission instead of handing it over to the estate agents who we actually instructed to sell our property. From the very start everyone at Abshots was friendly, approachable, professional and totally in our corner - paying client or not. Jack literally went out of his way several times to show us around, so we could measure up and plan where to put our furniture (luckily it was a vacant property). He was always so obliging, friendly and smiling. Amy Duce is outstanding. I’m convinced it’s solely down to her efforts that our house sale went through as quickly as it did. Everyone else (the people supposedly working on our behalf) appeared complacent and happy to drag their heels, but Amy was always there chivvying them up, asking for updates and generally not allowing them sit on their hands, exactly what you need when you are anxious about whether the sale of your property will ever get to the completion stage, especially in the present climate where so many sales fall through. Amy set up a WhatsApp group with me, and contacted me even on her days off or late into the evening if there was anything she knew I would want to be informed of, as the sellers of the home we bought were living outside the UK and in a very different time zone. Amy was more than happy to contact them and us way past normal office hours. She was always positive, reassuring and happy to help, in fact she did much more to ensure my house sale went through as smoothly and quickly as possible than my own estate agents ever did. I really couldn’t recommend this company enough. We have no plans to move house ever again, but if we did I wouldn’t put my house on the market with anybody else, and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them to anyone who’s considering selling their property. We will always be extremely grateful for all the hard work, commitment, never ending patience and understanding they showed us. Remember, they weren’t even directly working for us or being paid by us! That’s phenomenal service. Jack and his team at Abshot Estates are for me by far the best agents in the area. As an ex agent myself, I tend not to like estate agents, their selling techniques and over the top valuations backed with false promises for the sole purpose of getting your property on their books. Our property was very unusual and the valuation a touch tricky. Jack with his exceptional market knowledge knew this and discussed the various options for the marketing. There were no promises, no criticism of other agents just an honest market appraisal and a genuine desire to do what he's hoping to be paid to do, to get a good price for us as vendors and to manage the marketing and sale in a professional and honest manner. And yes, they delivered and were exceptional in every aspect from communications through to the process of taking us through to exchange. They achieved more than 10% above what other agents suggested, they marketed the property brilliantly with fantastic pictures and information and most importantly, they were very humble and respectful in their approach throughout the whole process. They're also genuine and do care about what they're doing which is again a very good point. Agency has changed now and the need for high street offices has gone as the online property portals are where the clients are found and Abshot Estates do compete with the corporate and large independent agencies in this area. They are the only agents I would recommend and I can't praise them enough, hence my long winded feedback. I wish them all the success they ca get as it's thoroughly deserved!

First Class! Jack and his (small) team at Abshot Estates genuinely are a breath of fresh air in the often testing world of estate agency. Having previously had two other run of the mill agents involved with no success, I was fortunate enough to be introduced to Jack by Natalie at Little Barn Door (a local, also highly recommended staging company we used). Jack has a different approach to selling houses; when he uses the word 'bespoke' in his company title, it is not used lightly. Initially when we went to market, we had more viewings in the first week (4 on one day), than we had in months with previous agents. Sold quickly, we too encountered what could be described as a potentially very stressful situation - our first buyer with Jack pulled out on exchange/completion day! Not deterred, Jack swiftly did what he does and another buyer was found within days. In fact, we had a choice of buyers and sold for significantly more second time round. Jack now has the first world problem of maintaining and growing his business, whilst retaining his 'small company' approach. Jack has excellent, profession customer relation skills which means that if you sell your house with Jack he will endeavour to do everything possible to get you the best sale. From the day we signed up with Abshot Estates, we found that Jack and his team were relentless in ensuring our needs were met in terms of booking viewings that suited us and keeping us informed of any potential offers. Unlike some other estate agents, Jack is honest and clear with the valuation expectations as well as considering your own expectations in terms of where to pitch the value of your property - optimistic but also realisitic. His research on similar properties is very impressive to give you a realisitic price comparison when considering what to value your house at. Throughout the sales journey, Jack was always at the end of the phone either text or call even on the weekends which again us unlike many estate agents.
