GoogleBrilliant Estate Agents. They were efficient and professional from start to completion. Everyone in the office was friendly and approachable and their local knowledge and experience was a bonus. They place great emphasis on good communication at all stages of marketing and sale, and were excellent at keeping me updated and also liaising with the other agencies involved in the sale of my property. They are everything you would want in your estate agent. Highly recommended.

Our home didn’t even get to a brochure as the staff at Boatwrights had a client who walked in and wanted a property like ours. They viewed, made an offer and three months later we have exchanged. GoogleWe just bought our first home through Boatwrights, after being on the hunt for almost a year. Dan, Laura and the whole team are truly wonderful. They are lovely to work with, professional and supportive and, act with the upmost integrity. Despite being the buyer (and therefore not their client), the team have been extremely helpful throughout our house search. They would proactively let me know if anything was coming on the market that would be of interest and really understood what we were looking for. Great news if you're a seller as they clearly cultivate good buyers ready for when properties come on the market. They also take the time to properly understand the needs of both the buyer and the seller and conduct themselves with sensitivity to make the sure sale process is as smooth as it can be. I can't rate them highly enough and whenever we sell in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to instruct Boatwrights.

GoogleCompletely recommend Boatwrights, everyone I've spoken to at the branch has offered fantastic customer service. What should have been a very straight forward transaction, ended up having complications (no fault to Boatwrights). Had I not had Daniel to speak to I may no longer be sane! I was given updates as soon as he had them for me, gave me great advice and insight into something I'd never done before which made everything so much easier. If you're looking to buy or sell, especially for the first time - Daniel and Boatwrights would be the right choice for sure!

GoogleWe first met with the team at Boatwrights in the new year of 2021, to explain what kind of property we were looking for. Unlike almost all the estate agents we'd been dealing with, they did not bombard us with inappropriate suggestions, and/or waste our time with marginal possibilities. In fact, they said they had nothing for us, but would be in touch when they had. Then, silence. Eight months later, we received an email inviting us to consider carefully a property that was about to come on the market, which they felt would suit us. Before going public with this property, Boatwrights said they would show it to three or four special clients. Were we interested? We studied the spec. It seemed perfect in almost every way. So we made an appointment to make a visit at the first opportunity. (I think ours was the last of four viewings.) As it turned out, the viewing matched the brochure. This was exactly the house and garden we wanted, and the price was right. We made our offer at the asking price on the spot, commissioned a survey at once, and had the whole transaction underway within a week. Two months later we are ready to complete the sale and move in. All I can say in retrospect (after more than a year of looking with some very high-profile names) is that Boatwrights provide a first-class professional service tailored to the needs of their clients. The vibe is efficient and highly focussed. Some people might say it was old-fashioned and traditional, but the proof is in the results. We found our dream house, and acquired it with a minimum of fuss, and in what seems now like record time. We could not recommend Boatwrights (Dan & Matthew especially) too highly. They are the tops. Any query has been acted on and followed up promptly. With both our sale and purchase the process has been long and tedious. Without their help I would have had a nervous breakdown! We have used their services several times in recent years and most recently with a successful sale completing in October 2022. From initial consultation up to the chasing of the chain, it is refreshing to find an agent that is so proactive and engaged in the process. Negotiations to agree purchase price were smooth despite having 3 competing parties. The subsequent queries, which arose from the survey and searches, were handled sensitively and within a very reasonable time frame. Phone and email communications were reassuring and professional. Fully recommend.
