I was interested to invest in property and as i saw an add online, I decided to go in branch in Grays to ask for further information after a shopping in the area. My dress code was not that smart. The agent inside was friendly, but he gave me fake informations about the property as they saw me dressed like pijama style clothes(but not pijama). I even gave them my contact details to let me know further too, because I refused to believe that all that is true. (Now 2weeks later never received a call). The informations was that a private flat in Grays is sold with tenant inside which pays rent £500 a month, in middle of Grays city centre around train station, like really? In 2022 I hardly find a room to rent in a shared house with this amount a month and mostly they are single room. When i arrived home i gave them a call on the same day, for the same property and asked same informations and at the phone I received different informations. Nice, so they treat people the way they dresses up. But this is not the case for everyone. Poor people likes to look rich and rich people don’t give importance to the way they look as they have more important stuff to do to become richer. So dear agents, be careful who you refuse in future, you might loose an amazing deal! Extremely Bad customer service!

Excellent service throughout the whole buying process and after the purchase. Starting with the viewing providing all information requested for the property and fast response to any queries raised since we have made an offer. Despite not having enough staff coverage in the office due to covid we were always getting quick responses from Bairstow Eves. We have received a lot of support and useful information needed during the buying process ( first time buyers) Braistow Eves helped us to communicate with the seller when our solicitors seemed to let us down in this matter and were delaying the purchase without giving reasonable explanation. I had a viewing last month . I was called at 9 am to again confirm the visit I was told to go straight to the property . There was no one at the property then I came back to grays office and said there is no one at the property . There were a couple as well who was also viewing the same property and they were telling the same thing. At the same time the lady in the office ask us to leave because of social distancing and covid extra . She was wearing mask . She just wanted us to leave and the other lady at the office was trying to get our details . I was told that you will be contacted again and arrange viewing . No one called so I called back but they told me wait we will arrange viewing . Nothing came. Wasted time

Excellent help, support and guidance from this team . Our sale has been a rather lengthy one , and for us , quite complicated as far as legal jargon was concerned . But this team from the staff answering the phones during COVID times too , to the reliable response of Scott , and the outstanding support and guidance of Gary the progressor . Scott was continuous in his efforts for finding out the next stage and did his best to keep us informed. Gary gave us that human down to earth touch , and was extremely helpful and professional throughout, you felt like he was your safety net , always pushing to help “you”. If you don’t understand the technical wording of a lot of the form filling and documents that may arise in your move , then you absolutely need Gary on your side. I used Bairstow Eves in Grays, the pictures taken of my Property was excellent, the staff in branch was friendly and professional but what made them stand out from the rest was the sales progressor Garry Wilson, he went above and beyond to get the sale and purchase through in record time!! Not once did I chase, Garry was always proactive and always called back when he promised to. My buyer used a online estate agent, there is a reason certain ones are cheap which my buyer unfortunately found out, but again Garry took it as a challenge and guided her even though this wasn’t his place. Had to sell my mum's house after she passed away. So quite an emotional process. Approached 3 different high street estate agents. One didn't get back to me, one merely sent a desktop valuation and quote but Countrywide (Bairstows) met up with us, gave a fair valuation and their terms were favourable. Dealt initially with Andrew Marshall who set things up and even dealt not only with viewings (no one at the house) but also with the guy re the new flooring. Lakeeba dealt with the day to day workings but Andrew was always there if needed. The house was sold within 3 months (incl over the Christmas period) and then we had the Covid 19 crisis. Andrew dealt with our exchange/completion from home and Scott went into the office to hand over keys, pick up paperwork etc Cannot fault them and their willingness to go that extra mile. I chose Bairstow Eves because my first point of contact Andrew Marshall was the only estate agent who told me the cost to sell and gave me a honest valuation from the start. Can't beat honesty in my book. He also put me in touch with a very good solicitor ( Luke Neale PCS ). I was caring for my mother at the time and the team had to rearrange viewings several times for me but were totally understanding and did it with a good heart and never wavered, which I would like to thank them for now,THANK YOU. I know Andy even tidied up on one occasion after a decorator had been in and I couldn't get there, can't ask for much more than that, top class. Scott was brilliant chasing up for me, Lakeeba and Hayley all really good. So if your serious about selling just go and see the team @ Bairstow Eves you won't find better 10/5

I don't mind admitting that I did not think that an Estate Agent adds much value to a vendor in today's property market being that buyers just look online, right? So I had quite the journey in my house move, with the houses I tried to buy... throughout the whole process the team at Bairstow Eves were great, professional, friendly and we even had some fun too! Their persistence in getting viewings and then keeping the chain motivated in some curve ball situations was very much appreciated. Scott, Tina and Kayleigh in the office especially were great. I feel like I know them personally as we spoke a lot at some stages. Samantha was so organised and ‘on it’ as we progressed the latter part of the process and held all parts of the chain together in some pressured moments. Having dealt with some of the agents I tried to buy houses from where I experienced lies, patronising conversations and in some cases sheer rudeness for no reason, I was always glad my agents, Bairstow Eves were not like like and felt safe in the knowledge they were treating me, my potential buyers and the eventual buyers with respect. As a nice final touch, every single one of the team, rang on or after completion to congratulate me.. and those sentiments were lovely and very much appreciated. Had a really great experience from Bairstow Eves. Our photographs and listing were of excellent quality and we had 9 viewings booked for the first weekend. Lakeeba and Andy kept us informed and emailed all the details in advance. We sold the house that weekend and Scott and the team got us our asking price. I also can not recommend Dionne Smith, their mortgage broker enough. Everything went so smoothly and she secured us a great competitive rate. I was honestly dreading the whole sales process as I haven’t moved in 16 years, but I can honestly say it was really easy and stress free. Thank you all!

We would like to say thank you to Mr Robert Jones who has supported us through our move . Even though his branch in grays was not ours and was not dealing with our sale he took ownership of the whole process as communication had broken down with our branch that was supposed to be dealing with our sale. Rob took it upon himself to not only deal with our buyers sale but also our sale and our new purchase. He was in constant communication with everybody and was a breath of fresh air for us. Rob is so approachable and explains in detail .nothing is to much trouble , its hard to find someone like Rob who actually does what he says he is going to do . If it were not for Robs intervention and willingness to complete our sale and purchase the chain would have broken down .
