When you are looking for rental property, Kaela has been reacting quickly, a rental property in Thornbury was secured in 3 weeks time. Unfortunately, When you move out at end of contract, Milburys turn into “Landloard protection” mode, they basically say no to everything to you suggest. totally not helpful at all. Moving out with Milburys is horrible 15/10 Latest updates: I had a chance talking to the agent when they were doing some property viewing while I was actually moving things out, she said, “there could be lots of ppl who got some requests while moving out, it’s not possible for us to to help them all.” Well, she is just being honest! After posting a negative review in the week of 14/9, I received phone calls from Simon asking why and what they can do better. He also shared the overall processes of ending the tenanacy. Thats sound positive isn’t it? We end up discussed a bit of Milburys “expectations of returning the rental property” such that I could get full refund of my deposit. I was asked to contact a handy man and paid £250. He claimed that he has been working w Milburys for 20 years, he knows how to meet the standard to ensure I could get my £1326 deposit back. When the final check out was completed earlier this week, I was granted a full refund of my deposit, ( thank you handy man) I received a few emails from Milburys, asking me to remove the negative comment. I find it fascinating. Hi Simon, Please allow me to keep this honest one star comment for good. Thank you!

Cherry and the team at Milburys have been absolutely fantastic from start to finish, very professional and efficient and the process for acquiring my rental property was smooth and quick and i have always been kept informed throughout the whole process and I am so happy and excited to move in soon. Thank you Zoe from Milburys in Thornbury for a successful house completion on Friday. I haven't moved house for 21 years and as a single person the process was daunting but from my first meeting with Zoe I trusted her honesty,transparency and integrity and knew that she was the estate agent for me. Her efficiency and prompt responses made house selling almost enjoyable and I also enjoyed working with a strong woman with a sharp sense of humour. It wasn't totally plain sailing and we did have a blip with my sale but I always had complete confidence that Zoe would get it over the line. I would recommend Milburys without doubt and hope that everyone buying and selling a home has such a positive experience 😊.

We have used Milburys in Thornbury twice and would recommend them to anyone. What makes them outstanding is that they don’t only sell your property extremely well, their after sales service is also exceptional. With so many estate agents, they only care about the sale, whereas Milburys constantly support you all the way to completion (something that these days is extremely important). The whole team are amazing. We have dealt with Sophie & Katie on both occasions and they are truly incredible (professional, friendly and effective). They are the best estate agent in the area.

We couldn't recommend Milburys Estate Agents enough! They are truly the rare, excellent property managers. My partner and I lived in a rental property for 5 years, we've moved out as we've bought our first home and it's been just a great living experience the entire time. Simon has been a fantastic property manager, really kind and approachable. We've always been comfortable to bring typical renters issues to him and he was quick to come out and fix or send a handyman to us. Sophie Barnard was friendly, knowledgeable and informative at the viewings and I then had excellent support throughout the ongoing purchase from Jo Griffiths and Emily Dolbear. There was regular communication on progress and rapid response to my queries. I've been renting through Milburys for just under 5 years, and I highly recommend their services. The whole process from viewing right through to check out has been seamless due to the level of organisation, attention to detail, and communication. All maintenance was dealt with in a fair and timely manner. Simon was my contact/letting agent and he consistently went over and above for me. This was especially appreciated as a single woman renting alone because anytime I was unsure or needed help, Simon was only a message away and always happy to help. I worked on the purchase of two different homes with Sophie from the Thornbury branch of Milburys. Once in 2022 and once in 2025. The first was successful and the second fell through at the survey stage. In both cases Sophie was an exemplar for communications, time management, and for getting-things-done-in-general. Kaela was very helpful to me and my partner during the renting process. She replied fast to our emails, answered any questions we had and kept us up to date with how the renting is going all throughout. Instructions were written clearly on what we need to do which made the whole process just so simple! The initial house visit could have went a little better. It was unknown wether we were allowed to use the clothes dryer in the community garden or not and the storage shed at the front was also showed to us by the landlord after the house visit. But overall, positive experience so 5/5!!

We had a lovely experience with renting mine and my partners first house, we visited Milbury’s and asked if we could view the house with very little notice as we were only in the area for the day. They were very helpful and had lovely positive attitudes, they made it work for us and we visited the house within the hour. We’re in the final stages of completing on our second sale and third property purchased through Milburys in a decade. Once again they have proven they are an exemplary agent - Communicative, responsive, proactive. Zoe Chisnell has consistently gone above and beyond for us, she is an asset to the company and everything you would want in someone marketing your home. We can’t fault Zoe and thank her for everything she’s done for us. Louis Harvey kindly facilitated a property visit for us on Christmas Eve and he was exemplary, professional and he also had bags of enthusiasm for what we are planning. His love for property and renovation really shone through.
