Had a meeting with a Daisy to discuss getting trying to get a mortgage as a first time buyer for a property we found. She was so helpful from the start and was always up to date with what’s new and going on. She found us the best rate compared to others we see and she is always on hand to help with any questions. There was a few complications with myself due to getting divorced and having different names on different documents but Daisy was so patient and reassuring that we was going to get there and just like that we got our mortgage offer and we’re ready to move forward on buying the property we found. Would highly recommend to all my friends and family. Thank you Daisy

My partner and I have recently sold a flat and brought a family home together in our local town through William h brown. We couldn’t fault their services at all, and found our dealings with William h brown were the most positive part of the whole experience. The Valuation and initial chat was with Alex who was warm and friendly, made us feel comfortable and eased us into the process - answering all our questions as he went through the paperwork. We organised to view potential homes with Rob and Chelsea over the phone who were both lovely and understood what we were looking for. Rob always offering more options and encouraging us to explore as many homes as possible in the area to find our dream home. Chelsea always made us feel welcome and comfy walking round a strangers home and we felt we could really be honest with our feedback about the viewings during each one. The mortgage process was smooth and effortless with Daisy, who was so supportive and very thorough. She went through everything as slowly and as many times as we needed to really get our head around the figures and potential outgoings we would be committing to. I had so many questions and worries and Daisy was always so quick to respond and reassure me with all the information we needed. She also made sorting life and building insurance an easy process, as we had no idea! Having used a different mortgage adviser previously for the flat purchase, I can’t explain how much better the service was with Daisy. She was so easy to contact and I was never left in limbo wondering what the next step would be. We will definitely be using her services again for future remortgages and any movement we decide to make - though not for a long time! We managed to purchase a beautiful 3 bed detached home on the David Wilson development after William h brown recommended we go and view the site! And we haven’t looked back since, the house is everything we could have wished for. During the process of purchasing, exchanging and completing on the purchase of our home we worked closely with Daisy, Sharon and Michelle with weekly phone calls, emails and meetings to make sure we were on track, get updates and keep the ball rolling! Sharon was so kind and reassuring, and when her name popped up on my phone screen after a stressful call with the solicitors I would feel relieved that I would be having a productive and positive chat with her about it all, which chilled me back out again. The amount of support and progression sharon provided was amazing and we can’t thank her enough! Michelle works closely with the harwich team too, but is based in clacton and called us weekly too to update us, chase progression and steer us closer towards completion. It became like talking to a friend, as she was so Intune with what was needed and how to keep us calm throughout. It’s almost strange not getting calls from Sharon, Daisy and Michelle now that it’s all completed, but we are so glad it’s all completed and we are all settled into our new home. I've recently took on a tenancy threw William h brown in Harwich, from the very beginning Dan has been amazing, he's really gone above and beyond to make the process go smoothly.. Always friendly and super helpful, this has been a very stressful situation for me but Dan really put my mind at rest.. I've now had the new property just over a week and for some reason today my house key wouldn't work, I was locked out my property but more important my poor doggies were locked in and getting distressed, I called the office and within minutes Dan arrived at my property and sorted the situation out, so even after the tenancy was signed for and job complete Dan still went out his way to assist me... Great at his job and always happy to assist whenever he can.. Much Appreciated

PLEASE STEER WELL CLEAR!!

Poor communication, false promises from sales, lettings and mortgage services. Started off great but once they've had your money they don't care about resolving any issues. Don't bother with the lifetime membership as you'll have to do all the work yourself. Don't bother with management services for letting a property either, they won't tell you about any problems and they'll let your tenants damage your property and steal from you without any reconciliation measures or compensation. I sold my flat over a year ago and I'm still battling with them and the Zero Deposit scheme to compensate me for my property being stolen and damage that I paid to fix for the new owner out of my own pocket. PLEASE STEER CLEAR, SAVE YOURSELF A HEADACHE!!

As a tenant this is the worst rental agency I've ever dealt with - expected more from such a big name

As a tenant this is the worst rental agent I've ever dealt with. 1) Difficult to get in touch with - they hardly ever answer the phone. 2) The property was dirty when we moved in, no inventory provided. 3) The property was managed by Sequence Ltd who have provided a very disappointing service - early on we were told (via a phone call and after several weeks of us asking) to arrange for repair of a maintenance issue ourselves and that this could be deducted off our rent afterwards, and that the landlord had instructed this. We never received the refund, they said because they didn't have records of that instruction. Several staff members had started then left during our tenancy which didn't help (we were there for 6 months). 4) We are now having to contact Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get our deposit back relating to a different issue, mostly due to our inadequate landlord who it seems is trying to claim a random amount of money anywhere he might get away with it (we left the property in a cleaner state than when we arrived to try to avoid any possible excuses for deduction from deposit). Sequence Ltd doesn't appear to know about or be bothered about the law and tenant's rights.

Would like to thank William H Brown for helping me and my partner to find our cozy house and to build our little family 🫶It was unbelievable when my partner told me he’s going just to see a “random property” and that we been accepted immediately, and in few hrs after the viewing he spoke with the landlord; It’s incredible that none of us had any experience with renting and we didn’t know the the steps of this process but with William H Brown everything went so smoothly and so fast 💞 Specially thanks to Daniel Morgan who was our letting agent and who along the whole process was so polite and kind; me and my partner , we feel so lucky that thanks toDanie we managed to move together and to be closer to each other; jsut in few weeks , after few emails from Daniel we had the keys! I would not trust these people, I emailed them to arrange a viewing on a tenanted property, no contact, after a couple of days I called them to arrange a viewing for same property, straight away the sales person tried steering me to another property instead, but I held firm, they said they would get back to me with an appointment, they never did, it’s now sold. They have preferred investors waiting in the background, other sectors would not get away with it.

Being a young mum to a newborn and never renting a property in the past made it almost impossible for me to find a property. I tried every estate agents around my area and felt like due to my age and position I wasn’t taken seriously. I was made to feel very uncomfortable and not welcomed. until I went to William H brown.The atmosphere was so welcoming and I felt very comfortable I would highly recommend William H brown to anyone looking for a rental property.
