My past experiences of using estate agents for house purchases or sales have never been positive. That is until now. Our transaction was fairly simple as we had a first time buyer buying our house and that was the end of the chain. I found communications excellent. Never any delays. Always helpful. Always on time. Conducted viewings for us. Price was very reasonable and there were no hidden costs. Katie and Chloe at the Carlton office handled the whole transaction very professionally. Thank you

DO NOT BUY OR SELL WITH BAIRSTOW EVES SOUTHEND ON SEA. Absolute Mickey Mouse setup where the agents dont even know who to contact to confirm a viewing! And so rude and unprofessional!Happy to explain more but not enough space!! Plenty of good Estate Agents around, I implore you not to use them!!!

GoogleThe team, including Louis, Kara and Jackie have worked really hard to conclude the tenancy on a property and to get new tenants in with a very short vacancy period. There was an unfortunate situation with the previous tenants who split up, and the team worked hard to liaise between the two at the end of the tenancy. I do not underestimate the time, tact and patience this took. Louis found several suitable tenants and ensured that referencing was done quickly so that the new tenancy could start as soon as possible after the old tenancy ended. This could have been an incredibly stressful situation, but the team managed to deal with everything for me and resolved all matters swiftly and professionally.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

We live abroad and it is a great comfort to know that all matters concerning the let of the property, the interaction with our tenants, repairs, flat maintenance and other issues that may arise, are always dealt with professionally, efficiently, and sympathetically, with the minimum of fuss. To all landlords leave them as soon as you can. These people don't listen to landlords. They done investigate. They only work to pass on cost to landlord. They dont care if the property is damaged or not been looked after. They even done care if tenant is in breach of tenancy agreement.

Well I ended up ill in Hospital and my husband was at breaking trying to balance visiting me, working and trying to finish the flat on time for our new tenants! Well in steps Rick Hall, “ Bearstow Eves can help you, we have a reliable team of Contractors who can finish your work!! “What a Godsend”, nothing was too much trouble for them, everything is now being finished to a high standard! GoogleFantastic experience throughout the entire process. Not only with the initial viewing but with every single step! This was particularly appreciated as there was a couple of delays from my side due to solicitor issues and both Adam & Robin were incredibly calm, patient and understanding at all times. So nice to find an estates agents that strikes the perfect balance between professional and personable. Would 100% recommend - 6 stars!

Thanks to the superhero trio comprising Jade, Amy, and Joseph, our Christmas miracle came true! Jade was our trusty point of contact, and when she took a day off for training, Amy swooped in to save the day. And let's not forget Joe, who kept us in the loop when Jade and Amy were off gallivanting. From start to finish, their service was top-notch, leaving us with nothing but smiles.Now, here's the twist: the only hiccup we encountered was the moving-in gift box they provided. Can you believe it? 0.0% beer! It's like they were trying to test our resolve. Almost had us deducting a star from our rating! But hey, let's not dwell on that minor blip. Overall, this branch is a well-oiled machine, managing everything with finesse.Kudos to the team for a job well done! You've earned yourselves a round of applause. 🎉
