Fantastic

We recently worked with Georgina at Morgan Payne & Knightley West Bromwich to secure a new place, and she was fantastic. Even with a few bumps along the way, she went above and beyond to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. Georgina kept us updated and was always there to help sort things out. She really made a stressful process so much easier, and we honestly couldn’t have done it without her, by far the best lettings agent any of us have ever worked with. She’s a real credit to the company, and I’d highly recommend Morgan Payne & Knightley to anyone looking for a smooth move.

DO NOT TOUCH THIS COMPANY UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE LIED TO AND STOLEN FROM!!! Not worthy of 1 star. Started the application the end of Feb/March for a commercial property. We paid the deposit and fees totaling £1950 to Rob (who has honestly been the most helpful in this whole situation but he left, which I can totally see why! Which then all got passed to tony) . We were told the property was ready 4 separate times and even given a draft contract (laughable now!). After months of calling/email and visiting the estate agents we gave up and went directly with the landlord. £1950 Has been stolen from ourselves and the landlord and no one has contacted us after trying to contact hundreds of time via emails/ phone calls and visits. I have full receipts of money paid to themselves. I have folders full of evidence of every phone call and attempt of contacting them. We are in the starting process of solicitors for the deposit back aswell as loss of earnings that we have occurred throughout the last nearly 8 months. When they have answered I got screamed at by the receptionist and called a liar or told they would pass a message on and never replied. We have been pulled into the owners (Tony) personal life/alarming issues and his questionable marriage too get out of answering questions we have been told a multitude of unnecessary personal life from there own staff members about situations in his own I have also full evidence of all this emails, comments from past workers and things he has told. We have had staff walking out infront of us because of this situation embarrassed by the company and extremely upset for us who told us of the company's debt issues, how they dont pay the landlords on time because the money is going into the owners pockets not deposit protection schemes. We have told mpk that we do not want to be dragged into this and just want the property numerous times. Tony is incompetent in all aspects of the job. I have been told the most exaggerated lies as to why he cant answer the phone. Staff told me he was in hospital they had just spoken to him and guess who comes strolling into the office less than 2 minutes after the being told, No other Tony!! (I was aware that tony was ill which is completely understandable if he isn't in work) But for his staff to lie whilst on the phone infront of us and say he said hes in hospital waiting to be seen right now is well, completely and utterly disrespectful. Im sure Tony and his staff will come back at the review with wrong/exaggerated lies of why i am wrong or lying, which his normal course of action but I come with 8 months of receipts and a lot of other people in support of what I have said above who have been in the same situation which i will add if they do come back with the usual ridiculous replys as us as you can see in the other reviews for mkp. We never wanted to be involved in any of this. We are a normal everyday working family with 3 small children trying to open our own small business and do well for ourselves. We have had nearly 2 thousand pounds stolen which we worked hard for. Honestly Tony you should be ashamed.

MP&K provided a brilliant service for us from start to end. They used an excellent photography company to take photographs of our property and our agent Chloe was with us throughout the whole sale process. She kept us regularly updated and was always easy to contact. She went above and beyond to make sure we were happy with the service. Definitely the best estate agents I’ve used and I would highly recommend them.

I started with MPK in September 2022 and could not fault the service we received. Took forever for paperwork to go through (no fault of MPK) but they kept us updated throughout. My landlord decided to change agents in February 2025 and it has been nothing but hassle ever since. I have made countless phone calls, sent soo many emails and all have been ignored. They are not giving me back my tenancy deposit and cannot prove or provide evidence of who it has been protected with! I’m told at least once per week it’s being processed but surely it doesn’t take over 5 months to process and return MY money!!

WORST SERVICE EVER

Good Day, my niece inquired about a property, 26 Victoria Street on the weekend of 22nd September, inquiring regarding the Lease, Council Tax, Electricity Bills etc. Its a commercial property. She sent an email but after three days had not received a response. I called and followed up on 25th September at 2.27pm (spoke to Chloe) an was told that email had been received and that had been sent to the commercial department and my niece would be contacted. I also left my number as I explained she was at work and may not be able to answer. Still no reply by email or phone the following day 26th September at 2.42pm I called again and basically was told that the department would get a nudge. I called today 30th September and was told that the person in charge had been on holiday (strange there was no replacement), I asked to speak to a manager so as I could complain. and was told the contact regarding the inquiry in the commercial office was the Managing Director. In 30 years of the property trade i've never experienced anything like this. BE AWARE

Terrible company if you are a landlord…

Terrible company if you are a landlord or tenant. Not registered as a business on Company business register but still trading. Not registering tenants deposits. Not paying rent to landlords . Not managing properties for landlords but taking money. Offices unmanned so tennants and landlords cant contact them. Not responding to any kind of communication. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY 😡

Don't answer their phones

How can they sell houses when they don't answer their phones?I have been ringing their Telford number, and it literally rings out, no answer machine, no auto-answer, no people. I've been trying for 2 days. If you are thinking of selling your house, I would never recommend using an estate agent that is not even set up to capture enquries by phone. ** UPDATE **About a week after this review and after an e-mail from myself asking if they were selling the property or not, I got a call from one of the Agents. To be fair, she couldn't have been more apologetic and lovely and quickly got to work in setting up a viewing for us. After the viewing I learned that a few members of the team were off poorly and their phone system hadn't been set up to take voicemails in office hours, only out of hours, and that measures are being taken to rectify that so that they can capture all information. Hopefully that is the case and if it is I am sure the other 5 star reviews will cancel this one out. But I am moving them from a 1 star to a 3 star due to my interactions when they did eventually speak to me.
