GoogleDart & Partners were our second agent instructed for the sale of my late mother's home in Teignmouth. As outsiders to the area, we received down to earth advice on the local market. We sold receiving a reasonable offer after a few weeks. The whole process taking 6 months to sale completion. I would not hesitate in recommending Dart & Partners.

GoogleLiesa and the team have been incredibly helpful in sorting out the rental of a flat. Both her and the team are Incredibly responsive, knowledgable and helpful - unlike a lot of the other estate agents in the Dawlish and Teignmouth area. Highly recommended.

GoogleAfter moving out 3 weeks ago and chasing daily, they have still not responded to our requests for our deposit back. When speaking to the staff they are rude and dismissive, and were throughout our tenancy. Communication has been poor always, lettings department are awful to deal with. After explaining to us that they would help as much as possible when notifying us that our tenancy would be ending in late November (by quickly dropping an envelope through the door and scurrying away, no phone call or prior warning and 10 days after our baby was born) they have been a nightmare to deal with. After the 14 day statutory period elapsed for them to return our deposit we were sent a list of superficial ridiculous points that would require "works" to rectify. Including removal of flowers we left for the landlord upon departure. That was 7 days ago and after daily emails from us we still have had no response. Apparently once you have left a property you are no longer a concern. Families beware of renting through this company.

GoogleWe had some outstanding service from all the letting staff at Dart's Teignmouth office, whilst trying to find a place to rent for our daughter. Teresa, in particular, went out of her way to find us a suitable ground floor flat (for mobility reasons) that we have rented. It fitted our needs perfectly. She was patient, thoughtful and caring. GoogleCAUTION: this estate agent is much more interested in the profits of their landlords than the wellbeing and dignity of their tenants. The teignmouth flat I rented for a year was massively over charged, with a landlord who took far to long to address a growing damp problem and then addressed it be having a handy man repaint the walls so that the cycle would repeat next year. Our electric boiler had poor function and the electric radiators I'm the property were non-functioning or ill suited. Upon leaving my deposit return was a stressful process where it was not clearly communicated how to dispute the claim, finding the details of the claim was unessesarily complex and I was borderline harassed over a missing table in my unfurnished flat. Safe to say that I had my deposit taken from me after causing such stress that I had to be absent from my work.

GoogleAll the staff I have spoken to at the Teignmouth branch have been amazing. We are moving long distance and when I call for help/ advice they are always so full of warmth and support. I know they are really busy and probably stressed to the max, but I never have any indication of that because they are so professional. Thank you guys. GoogleWe visited Dart and Partners just over 4 years ago when we were looking to buy our first home. The staff did not listen to the type of property we were after, or which area we were after. They showed us round a couple of houses without much interest, and we have never heard from them since, so I assume they still think we are looking to buy?? Absolutely useless. And in reply to your comment, that is not me on your records, as when we signed up with you over 4 years ago, I was not married, and therefore was signed up under my maiden name.
Dear Mrs Heard, I am amending my previous response to your review of my company as I believe your comments, and the basis for leaving such a negative evaluation of my team to be spurious. At the time, when you left the review, your comments did not “ring true” with me. As I mentioned in my previous response, our digitally timestamped computer records showed your having been registered with us in September 2019 (in your married name). Your review made no reference to your more recent contact with Dart & Partners, nor the fact that you had discussed several properties with us and attended a viewing with my colleague Chris Pearson on the 26th September 2019. Your review simply referred to contact with us in 2015, suggesting that our records were incorrect and that we were incompetent for assuming you were still looking in 2019. I do not believe this to be a true reflection of the facts. You have mentioned that it must be a different Mrs Heard on our records. I can assure you that this is not the case as the record was linked to your husband and I doubt very much there is another Mr & Mrs Heard living locally with both of the same first names as you and your husband. Furthermore, since leaving this review for Dart & Partners, I note that your correspondence address was sold in January of this year, and that subsequently you gave a glowing review of an excellent local solicitor who acted for you when you moved. You also reviewed a Dawlish based estate agent, saying that you sold your property through them in 2019. Therefore, it is clear that you did move recently and as such your comments about Dart & Partners are incorrect and appear to be nothing more than an attempt to damage the reputation of a small, family owned business. Nonetheless, I suppose all of this is academic given the length of time that has elapsed and I suspect we will never know the real reasons for using such derogatory language as “absolutely useless” in relation to the most successful and well established estate agent in the area.
