We recently purchased our house which was being marketed by Jackson Stops in Oxted. It was not a straightforward purchase, as it involved liaison and agreement multiple parties with regards to aquiring rights of way alongside the house. It is not an exaggeration to say that without Jane and her team at Jackson Stops the sale would have fallen through on multiple occasions. Jane went out of her way to deal with all parties, and push the deal through. She was professional, fair, responsive and diligent throughout. Jackson Stops, Oxted was involved in the selling of our house and the purchase of our new property. Both concluded successfully, due primarily through their excellent communications keeping us informed of progress at all times. The staff were well informed and experienced at showing prospective buyers around our home. When there was a problem within the chain Jackson Stops kept in touch with all relevant parties so that we were always aware of what was going on. Jackson Stops took responsibility and were proactive at every stage of the process which reduced the hassle which you would normally expect when buying or selling a home. Alice Creighton from Jackson - Stops visited my property last month, she was on time , polite and professional . Alice accompanied me around the property and listened to the problems I had . I felt very supported as she took photos and listened. Our objective last October when we approached Jackson-Stops to market our property was to achieve a sale as soon as possible. Market conditions were not favourable and even deteriorated over the winter months. Sadly 1 star. My experience with them is they are dishonest and will work within legal frameworks whilst lying to you. Bought a non primary residence in the Cotswolds with them recently, was told the oven was an everhot.. it’s not, it’s a smeg. Was told the property had previously been under offer at the same price.. it hadn’t, it was 150k lower, found out through severe googling this week. Was told the house had been surveyed and ready to go (we of course carried out our own) and lots of issues came up they knew about and didn’t flag. MOST ashamedly, they accepted out of asking and then AFTER doing all of the background checks and mortgage offer etc etc etc they told us that the house had an outstanding land issue (known about by them months before offer was made) that required hundreds of thousands of pounds to be paid to resolve and had no immediate timeline.

I worked very closely with Lottie Watts and she ensured that the sale of my house and purchase of my new house went as smoothly as possible. Even though there were a couple of hiccups along the way, Lottie did not expect me to deal with anything, she absolutely took the stress out of the process by being available to speak to all parties and resolved the issues with the minimum of fuss. I would fully recommend using Jackson-Stops to either purchase a property form, or sell your property. I sold and moved into my new house within 4 months of my house going on the market.

I recently sold my house in Limpsfield and Jane and her team were extremely professional and efficient in all our dealings. Specifically she was excellent in providing a realistic and accurate valuation and weeding out any potential buyers who weren’t serious. Despite inevitable delays due to Coronavirus it took no more than 10 weeks from when the property was listed to exchange of contracts. Jane was always “on the case” and thus avoided the usual delays due to minor queries or busy solicitors not giving the matter priority. Communication is the key when buying/selling a house. We chose Jackson Stops for their professionalism, support and accessibility and could not fault any of the team. Our purchase involved some difficult issues all of which were resolved by civil discussion. Unfortunately our buyers proved to be aggressive in their attitude, unwilling to engage in a civil discussion and unable to listen to what was being said.
