Fantastic!

I cannot speak highly enough of the service we received from cubit and west southsea. I really liked the WhatsApp messenger service too, makes communication easy. Harry sold our house within a few days, a really friendly and helpful guy. And Julie was there from then onwards, to see it through to completion. She answered all my silly questions in no time at all. Would definitely recommend selling your house through these guys

Cubitt and West Brighton don't want my business...?!

I am really disappointed by the interaction that I have received from Ebba at Cubitt and West Fiveways, Brighton. I have called a few times today to try to get booked in for a valuation to sell my property. After some difficulty getting through and finally speaking to someone in head office to get an appointment, Ebba calls back to rearrange. When I said that I could move the appointment but if there were any issues I would call to let her know Ebba replied 'that if it wasn’t a real appointment she would take it out of her diary’. Not a real appointment? That’s a strange comment. I would like to book in the valuation which is why Ebba was the 4th person today from Cubitt and West that I spoke to in order to arrange. When I tried to explain that the situation may not in my control and I was only giving her a heads up to be considerate she said ‘that she was rearranging her whole schedule to fit me in and didn’t want to do that if I wan’t going to guarantee the appointment’. I’m confused as to why Cubitt and West Brighton don’t want my business? And coming from Estate agents that often have to cancel / reschedule as they are dealing with situations out of their control…?! I purchased this flat through Cubitt and West years ago and sadly will no longer return to them for help.

Where do we start, I guess with Paige White first, what a diamond she is, from the very moment we first met her, she was friendly helpful and most importantly honest. The place Paige took us too, she warned us go in with an open mind, as work was ongoing at the property but not ready yet. We went and while we went in with an open mind, it was difficult to see beyond. Paige said I will keep a close eye on the progress and update you. We went away more in hope than anything else. Within a week of that viewing Paige called us and said come back and see what has been done. Which we did and while it was not yet ready the transformation was amazing. Paige had been right along, We said yes to the property and Paige went out of her way to get the paperwork side of things moving. When dealing with the rest of the team in the Bognor branch of C & W they too were friendly and helpful. Inside a month we are in the property and a huge part of that was down to Paige White.

He could sense the property wasn’t quite right for me so went about asking what I was looking for.Dan was not pushy like most agents and true to his word, he sent me over a few more properties to consider.Sadly, I found a property elsewhere that was better suited. we are so pleased we choose cubitt and west to sell our house and purchased our new property,Richard and his team were so helpful all the way through, they returned our calls promptly and were always on hand if we had a problem. Richard went the extra mile for us both with our sale and purchase it wasn’t unusual for him to ring late in evening and also at weekends, Jordan was very friendly and polite showing us round our new home,As for Lisa poor girl I gave her some grief on the phone as ours wasn’t an easy sale and she always returned my calls and was so helpful.I will miss ringing them in the future as I hope this is my last move, if I do move I will certainly be calling them again.

The sale of my property has been a true…

The sale of my property has been a true up hill journey. Cubitt&West first had the property on their books back in 2019. they all worked very hard to get a sale, but due to a ground rent clause, potential buyers could not get a mortgage. I then purchased at quite an expense, a lease extension, so mortgage companies would now at least offer mortgages. Again I put the property with Cubitt &West Caterham where Lucy Prior and her team started marketing the apartment, this was in mid 2023 with the gov and banks making the property market very difficult.But Lucy persevered and managed to get a good few viewing. lucky for me one of those viewing became a buyer, and Lucy took it to completion. Thanks Lucy.Lucy has all the way through the process, that has not been an easy one, kept me informed. Has been totally honest and always on the end of a phone if I had questions.I can only with the highest regard recommend Lucy Prior and her team in Cubitt & West Caterham. Most professional positive experience I have ever had with an estate agent and auction process. Lucy and Heather have been amazing. Lucy was so realistic and enthusiastic with regular updates and Heather has expertly negotiated the price and explained the process in easy to understand terms. Lucy and the whole team were so professional and personable throughout our moving experience. In tricky housing-market times they were realistic and communicative from the start of the process to the end. Having begun the selling process with another agent, we wished that we had instructed C&W sooner. Marketed and photographed realistically, the sales consultants leading viewings were punctual and enthusiastic. Lucy or another member of the team were always on the end of the phone to: answer our queries; clarify procedures; remain unwaveringly practical and professional; and provide a welcome empathetic ear. Since we also bought our new property through C&W, from a buyer's perspective, the team negotiated in an extremely professional manner, keeping us informed of decisions promptly. I just wanted to say a huge thank you to Cailean and Brendan. From the initial visit they were so friendly and polite, always professional and full of advice and support. I really enjoyed working with them. When they found a buyer for my property they were always on hand for the buyer and myself to answer any queries. All the way through the sale, along with Claire and Tamsin they made the sale progress as smoothly as possible.
