GoogleWe used Hywel Anthony for the sale of our property. We could not have been happier with their service. They were professional, friendly and always kept us informed about our sale. Anthony was great on the valuation and very knowledgeable on the area.Andrew took amazing photos all done very quickly to get our house on the market. They sold our house on first viewing at full asking price. From there they kept us informed of the process and were always on the end of a phone for any queries. Carol in the office always knew who we were when we just happened to pop into the office. She always knew where we were in the sale and helped us no end. The Hywel Anthony team made us feel like a family member and we could not ask for anymore. If you are thinking of selling your home go to Hywel Anthony Estate Agents you will not get a more professional friendly service than these anywhere.

GoogleHaving moved, bought n sold over 10 times we wanted to use a local Estate Agents rather than the big guys and WOW what a difference. Estate Agents reputation is not the best but they should all take a lesson from these guys. From the valuation with Anthony himself right through to completion date with Carol always helpful nothing was too much trouble. I’ve NEVER heard an Estate Agent say to me “I will do that because that’s what you pay me for”. Tells you everything. So personal, so knowledgeable and just so genuine. I even bought them a thank you card and flowers because they were so good. Changed my view on Estate Agents for sure, well these ones anyway!!!

GoogleMy house sale was particularly difficult due to a very messy separation. Hywel Anthony Estate Agents managed both of us (sellers) separately and acted with discretion. I'm extremely pleased with the teams efforts and can only imagine the sizeable overhead this particular house sale caused. I would use Hywel Anthony again and highly recommend them!

GoogleI purchased a house in Pontyclun via Hywel Anthony Estate Agents in Talbot Green and i can say they were very professional and helpful through the whole purchase stage. Usually i have found with larger chain estate agents, that you have to chase up email requests a few times when needing information or action from the estate agent . On each occasion, when dealing with the members at Hywel Anthoy Estate Agents, the requests sent by myself were dealt with within a working day and where needed followed up quickly later on, which from my perspective speeded up the purchase process removing some of the headaches you get when buying a house.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

We were given a realistic valuation of our house (offers within the first day of viewing), great service throughout including the pictures being taken and sorting out the descriptions etc for the brochure and adverts. Weekly emails to check how we are doing and if anything needed chasing or if they could help. Carol in the office is always keen to help and give a hand, likewise Andrew, with suggestions for different properties until we found the right one. Brilliant company.

GoogleWent to view a house under this agent in Pontyclun on Saturday. Due to the location, we knew demand would be high. Upon viewing we asked all the necesary questions as we were advised by the agent, Anthony, that the house would be sold that weekend. During our converstaions at the viewing, we put an initial offer in. We were informed that other offers had been placed, and given the impression (the agent said he wasnt suppose to tell us, but "did") that the asking price had be offered, he said "...listen carefully to me, you need to be offering the asking price". He went on to say if more than one offer at the same price was given, we were told that the next stage would be best and final offers for those only with the same offer. If our offer was the highest and only one, that would be the one accepted. We put our revised offer in, in writing, and was informed this had been passed to the vendor an hour later. Mid morning this morning (Monday), we were emailed to say "...be aware this isnt sold until confirmation of funds." The letter went on to say the agents would be in touch. We were led to believe our offer had been accepted due to the ambiguity of the email and letter. Upon following up we spoke to someone at the office who said their system had an offer accepted and that Anthony was half way through processing the paperwork. Anthony called to say the vendors had gone with a cash buyer due to time scales, and nothing to do with our offer. We are first time buyers, we werent given an opportunity to counter despite our offer being put in writing. Anthony has emailed to say its down to the vendor, but due to the ambiguity of the emails, and his miss guidance during viewing I question his ingetrity and professionalism. He also states no writen acceptance was mentioned. Something I find convenient and suiting to his objectives. I understand this is seen as gazumping and theres nothing legally that can be done. However, looking at the other reviews, all by sellers - I write this review as a buyer and warn other buyers...BUYERS BEWARE. This agent lacks integrity for the buyer and pulls the whole estate agency into disrepute. Sellers should also beware of their approach as they may not be aware of how their properties are sold.NegativeProfessionalism
