Studentdigz has appalling service. Phone number impossible to reach. Constant miscommunication. Four students renting a property are going back to university this week and still haven’t been able to get the keys. Really don’t recommend. No one seems to know what they’re doing! Not student friendly at all. Im editing this review as I have seen they responded saying they're not 'digs of swansae' which I am fully aware, so nice try. Student digz is absolutely awful. We're out of university now so wont be 'popping our heads in either.' you made the experience poor and failed four students with poor communication throughout the duration of their time with you. Money grabbers.

Going to be fair here, for a lettings agency they actually aren't that bad, had a bit of a rocky start but they did end up dealing with everything we reported to them in terms of repairs etc. They have really good software for reporting things which puts them streets ahead of every other agency in Swansea in my opinion. Instead of the usual "ignoring every part of the email we can't be bothered to deal with" approach that most agents take when communicating with them these guys just have you report it on their software, you get a ref number, it gets sorted, easy. Nearly gave them 4 stars but compared to every other agency I've dealt with I have to give it up, they deserve 5. Edit: Put it back to 4 as they still have reviews up from their own staff which I have pointed out to them is just weird.

Very poor service. It was always difficult to contact the agency via phone or email (they would respond to my emails after many days, even when the inquiries were quite urgent). The agency didnt care about our repair inquiries (our washing machine was never repaired until after we moved out. They also did not specify how to collect the keys and that we are required to book an appointment days prior to be able to collect the keys and actually enter the house; such situation caused my friend to be homeless for a few days!!! The agency also ensured my flatmate that their room would be renovated as the standard was quite low and different in comparison to the rest of the house, however no renovation works took place. All in all, if you want to spend your academic year without stressing about your house etc find a different agency.

Avoid Student Digz at all costs. They are only interested in taking your money and once you’ve signed, the service stops there. We moved out on 30th June and, nearly September, we are still waiting for our deposit. Despite countless emails and phone calls, they ignore tenants completely. When you do manage to get through, their colleagues are rude and dismissive. The property was disgusting when we first moved in ; bins left full outside, filthy oven, and previous tenants’ cookware left in cupboards. Yet now they are trying to justify keeping our deposit even though we left the property spotless, with photo evidence to prove it. Our landlord, David Sparks, has been no better. He has done absolutely nothing to resolve the situation, only happy to take rent and deposit money with no accountability when it comes to giving it back. Student Digz and landlords like this prey on students, take your money, and then vanish when you need them. The service has been shocking ; unprofessional, unhelpful, and dishonest. I would strongly warn anyone against renting with them

I moved into a Student Digz property in September 2024 and my experience has been nothing short of terrible. From the very first day the room I was given had a damaged curtain and the toilet was leaking into my room. I reported this immediately but nothing was done. Student Digz do not attend to issues properly and when you try to reach out to the landlord he is always “too busy.” My contract stated that tenants are responsible for bills which I understood. However when I moved in there was no clear bill arrangement in place. Later I received a letter from Welsh Water saying I owed money. When I contacted Student Digz they said they “didn’t know anything about it” and told me to speak to the landlord while other tenants in the same house had bills included in their rent. Both Student Digz and the landlord denied responsibility leaving me to deal with the problem myself. I eventually had to set up a payment plan with Welsh Water to stop it from affecting my credit score. To make things worse Student Digz are not an effective intermediary between tenants and landlords. If you have issues don’t expect them to follow up or provide real support. Even when you call they act like they don’t understand what you’re talking about. When moving out I returned my keys as instructed and was told to request my deposit back after 14 days. It has now been longer than that with no update. I need my deposit back to cover the water bill they left unresolved yet both the landlord and Student Digz have gone silent. From my experience and from what my friends who also rented with them have said Student Digz are unreliable unresponsive and careless with tenants’ needs. Don’t be fooled by the polished reviews online. If you want a smooth renting experience look elsewhere.

This agency are inept, they have left tenants at property 10 days without Gas, contract states that its provided with utilities. When the Gas went off they were contacted only to say the tenant was responsible for the utilities? The strength of a letting agency is their ability to repsond to the one in ten properties that have an issue, 10 days in and still guessing at what's happening. Don't be swayed by the majority of reviews that have had nothing to deal with, have a look at the reviews that have posed a genuine issue that needed a response? Not good. Evironmental health are now taking up the case.

StudentDigz have been most accommodating in facilitating the process of renting a student flat in Swansea. As a parent of an international student, it was really important that I found suitable accommodation for my child. From the moment I submitted my enquiry requesting to view a flat, they have been very responsive and supportive with all our questions. Sharon and her staff - Leah, Olivia, and Emily - have been so attentive with answering our questions about the flat, the tenancy agreement, and the letting process. It can be frustrating when you're searching for a flat and you feel like you're getting the "run-around." It is important to me that I can reach out to them and I know I'm going to get a prompt response. It is very reassuring! I'm only in town for short periods, so it was very beneficial that StudentDigz was able to schedule viewings for us and get questions answered quickly while I'm in town. They also have good communication with my child, who feels confident about the decision to rent the flat. Overall, StudentDigz is a great agency to work with when looking for a flat to let. I highly recommend using them when searching for student accommodation in Swansea, Wales.
