Professional, transparent and efficient

I sold my house with CTF. Chris was my point of contact and he was very personable, professional and transparent in all our dealings. I met with 4 agencies initially and felt that Chris and the company were the best choice to help me sell my house. They proved me right. I live abroad and Chris was very good at keeping me regularly updated with any developments. I always felt I could get in touch whenever needed and actually talk to a person, not an answer machine, that meant a lot. Once a buyer was found, the sale went through very quickly and painlessly. I was very satisfied with the service I received from start to finish. I was a landlord before selling and have dealt with other agencies in the area which I would not recommend and did not trust to sell my house. However, I wholeheartedly would recommend Clee Tompkinson Francis. Excellent service. Thank you.

Great service

My sister and I had a very good experience with CTF. Problems came up along the way, not least a fire at the property which seriously held things up. However Chris and his team were extremely helpful and reliable at all times. All queries , no matter how small were attended too either by phone or email promptly.The many viewings were always conducted in a friendly and professional manner. I can honestly say that I was totally satisfied with the service provided and would recommend the Walter Rd branch of CTF to anyone.

Surprised to see so many negative…

Surprised to see so many negative reviews. I have recently completed on the sale of one property and purchase of another, with two different branches of Clee - Carmarthen and Pontardawe. I have been surprised and impressed by the level of service from both offices. There has been regular communication, which has been friendly and supportive and an enterprising suggestion led to my purchase of a property which I hadn't even considered. I wouldn't hesitate to use CTF again, or to recommend them.

Would not recommend them to anyone!

We had their Manager from Carmarthen Branch to give a market appraisal today. What a waste of time! Showed him round all the vast, very substantial improvements carried out since buying our house five year ago - to make it a truly eye catching smallish equestrian property for a growing family not seen anywhere in this area ready to move in ! His valuation was ridiculous and laughable! Out of courtesy, didn’t show him the door, instead told him politely the subject is closed. Did he stop? No! Carried on with his verbal diarrhoea! He is a “know all” man, by far the worst we had ever come across, having moved house 12 times across the South East and Wales !

I was really impressed with the speed at which they sold my house.

I was really impressed with the customer service of provided by Clee Tomkinson Francis. They gave me an estimate on the sale of my house and they were spot on. The whole experience was very quick and efficient. Even I was surprised how quickly they sold my house and how easy they made the whole experience for me. In particular, Rhys Thomas deserves a shout out for his excellent service. He was able to answer all my queries and took the hassle out of selling my house.

I cannot thank Chris and the team enough for all they did in our recent house sale. Even/especially in these testing, trying and uncertain times Chris couldn't have been more helpful, supportive and on hand to help us going above and beyond at all times to ensure the sale went through as smoothly as possible. The chain almost broke down several times in the days leading up to exchange due to uncertainty, fear and poor communication in the other parties, Chris was able to negotiate and communicate effectively to iron all this out and get things back on track. Our sale went through only a week behind the original plan even with everyone working from home and in these unprecedented times. From start to finish and with the current crisis put to one side Clees were a dream to work with, from the video showcasing the property and securing a full asking price offer on first viewing to constantly keeping us updated and in the loop. I would never dream of using anyone but Clees in the future. Thank you so much all involved and a massive thank you to Chris! High recommended from photos, to video, to seamless stress free viewings, to open communication and availability to their working relationships with other agents and solicitors, made an extremely heightened and stressful situation so much easier!

Dreadful Morriston branch

Dreadful Morriston branch. Sharp practice. Continued viewings on a house after we agreed an offer without informing us. Allowed us to drive 5 hours each way for a second viewing to resolve a boundary issue. They did not follow up on this viewing but then accepted a new offer from another party and then asked us to increase our offer behind the back of the new person. Avoid.

Poor customer service

Me and my girlfriend viewed a property in whitland, Carmarthenshire and was not inform at the viewing that there was a holding fee of £100. The estate agent contacted my girlfriend whilst we were dealing with family issues, stating that she had to pay £100, as I was in work she was unsure of what to do and paid the £100. Due to family circamstances we were unable to to move to this property, we have received abysmal customer service throughout the process and money has not been refunded.

When we enquired about progress it appeared they had lost our application ( we still had letter as proof it had been submitted) so they asked to resubmit the paperwork which we did back 12 months they acknowledged receipt.

I have been renting a property…

I have been renting a property from clee thompson and francis for 9 months.When we moved in we had flooding after 2 days.We have had to have builders back and fore many times in the 9 months as well as inspections etc.This house as been the worst house i have ever private rented.We have had 9 months of hell.The house will be prohibited in the next 2 weeks as enviromental health as been here twice and said today it will be prohibited.The girls have done the best they can for us,but i do believe they should be checking the properties out a lot more before renting them to families such as us.My daughter suffers feom asthma and we should never have been allowed to rent this in the first place.Although we have an agreement for the last few months not to pay the rent, and some other months in between we have had discounted rent.We always had to pay the agency fee.A good company wouldn't taken that in the stste this house is in.
