I sold my property with SavilIs …then…

I sold my property with SavilIs …then bought my next property with Wards of Kent.My goodness how the two differ !!Savills estate agency I could not fault they were professional,on the ball and at the end of the phone at every given point through the sale of my house l. And then I buy a house through wards of Kent and I have never dealt with such incompetence in all of my life. An absolute appalling S**t show from beginning to end. You could never get hold of anyone to answer any enquiries I don’t even want to carry on with how bad it was it was just worse than ever I will never deal with this estate agent ever ever again. And if I could give anyone any heads up don’t use this agency they’re all about selling and no after service.

Great Service From Start To Finish

After having a pretty appalling experience with a number of other agents in the area whilst looking for a rental property, i cannot say enough how great Wards have been. David and Maria have been fantastic throughout the whole process, even with a last minute request to bring moving in date forward. If you are looking for a property in the south east, don't bother going anywhere else. Save yourself time and stress by going straight to these guys. You wont regret it ;)

I had an offer accepted on a property with outdated decor but with no indication of any problems. When the survey came back the results were absolutely dire and showed massive costs for urgent repairs.Wards dismissed these costs by referring to them as "updating" and claiming the work needed was "clear". Firstly, the cost of updating would be in addition to (not instead of) these urgent repair costs, as well as further essential repair costs stated by the surveyor. Secondly, the repairs needed were NOT at all obvious because I am not a surveyor and there was no mention of any of these problems by Wards.The fact that they claim the repairs needed were clear (which they were not to someone without the relevant surveying qualification) indicates that they already knew about these major problems and had withheld that information when advertising the property.They claim they are now looking for another buyer, presumably by again not mentioning any of these problems.I have had large amounts of both my time and money wasted because Wards did not disclose the true condition of the property.

This estate agent is not trustworthy

This estate agent is not trustworthy. Brendon, the branch manager, ignored the buyer’s concerns and questions. He stood on the seller’s side only and kept saying to the buyer that he tried to help to resolve disagreements between the seller and the buyer. Besides, he was very slow to respond your emails and questions, but forced you to answer his email within 24 hours, or else he would tell you he would stop the transaction with the buyer, and put the property back to the market. In fact, he had told me (the buyer) for several times already. Furthermore, he was suspected to uphold the important information during the transaction between the seller and the buyer, and he almost destroyed the whole transaction in the end. Fortunately, the seller suggested to contact the seller directly to clarify misunderstanding. Therefore, he was not only virulent to the buyer, but also to the seller. If you really want to sell your property, I would not recommend Wards to you.

Wards New Romney Kent

I dealt with Wards at New Romney in Kent. Callam did the property searching, Rihanna took me to the viewings and Steve finalised the deal. All three members of staff I dealt with showed the utmost professional skill and were very kind and helpful. It is the first time I have moved house in 35 years, and I was fooled by the stereotype of a pushy estate agent. My real experience couldn't have been further from that truth. I highly recommend this branch of Wards Estate Agents, these members of staff are great people who are very knowledgeable, both about the properties and the local area. Furthermore, they deliver on their promises 100%.
