After being a perfect tenant for 10 years, never missing a single rent payment and even receiving a glowing reference from my landlord, Haart treated me with utter contempt when it came to returning my deposit. I am extremely disappointed with the service provided by Hart-Sutton, specifically by their property manager, Tiffany. Over the past six months, I have repeatedly reported a maintenance issue, which remains unresolved. Despite sending an engineer twice without any progress, Tiffany kept insisting it was for a quote. Even the engineer, who has reported the issue to her multiple times, was confused and unsure of what to do next. Recently, Tiffany visited my property with the landlord for the third time, promising to resolve the issue. However, nothing has changed. There seems to be a severe lack of communication and clarity, causing unnecessary frustration and inconvenience. Tiffany’s handling of this situation has not only failed to address the problem but also tarnished the reputation of Hart-Sutton. In addition to the unresolved maintenance issue, Tiffany recently provided me with the wrong date for an open house. As a result, I vacated the flat unnecessarily, only to find that no one showed up. It turns out that Tiffany had given me the incorrect date, causing further inconvenience and demonstrating a lack of attention to detail. In the past, I have had better experiences with other agencies, and I regret ever dealing with Hart-Sutton. Due to this ongoing issue and the unprofessional response, I will not recommend Hart-Sutton to anyone. I have friends moving to Sutton soon, and I would have referred them to Hart-Sutton, but now I will advise them to avoid this agency entirely. The management at Hart-Sutton needs to thoroughly review the qualifications and performance of their staff to ensure they are capable of providing adequate service to tenants. I have documented all interactions and emails, which show the unprofessional delays in communication from Tiffany. Hart-Sutton must take immediate action to improve their service standards.
