Gleeson Kilkenny 2022 - bought through Forces Property Direct

We reserved our Gleeson Kilkenny in February 2022 with the help of Forces Property Direct. From the moment we reserved our plot, Adam (Sales) kept us fully informed of the progress with our build, helped us pick our options and answered any questions we needed advice on. We completed in May 2022 instead of June so we were pleasantly surprised to be moving into our new home earlier than planned. We picked up a couple of small things on home demo day which were sorted before we moved in. This really set the precedent for things moving forward and Simon (Site Manager) has been extremely helpful throughout the whole moving-in process. Any issues we've had, he's rectified straight away, nothing is too much trouble for him. We are now almost a month after moving in and are very happy in our new home at the Sutton Heights development, a huge thanks to Adam, Simon and Dan, they are a credit to Gleeson Homes. *An added note, all of the issues we've experienced have been minor and just small things you might expect with a new build home.

It was exciting to reserve 2 bed property with Gleeson, booking process was really smooth and supportive. Great thanks to Victoria for making it easy. I was just little disappointed on 2 things1. No carpeting/ flooring is included in new built home otherwise expectation was home should be ready to move in.2. House extension conservatory is not permitted that in my case was desperately needed. It is starting stage,i am hoping journey with Gleeson will be as per commitment with completion and hand over in time.Thanks,

Plot 68 Hawthorn Fields.

We reserved a plot at Hawthorn Fields having sold our house then everything went wrong as our buyers pulled out. Scott and the team were so helpful and understanding and I couldn’t wish for a better set of people. After all we went through we have now moved in and it already feels like home. Nothing is too much trouble for them.

I believe she is remarkably intelligent, self- determined, and always goes above and beyond, in all aspects of life. Mauricia has always remained a strong and level-headed individual, striving to provide the best for her, and those whom she represents. The sales executive team provided a great service, Mauricia in particular at Gleeson homes Northbeck Grange. She was amazing, supportive, polite and very welcoming when we had our first appointment. Honestly? Shocking. With a two year warranty on the house. Still nothing will get repaired or fix. As emails indicate they “assume” it’s the home owners fault. - ceiling came through (my fault) - patio doors (15 months in. Now having a 3rd party come out and fix again) -master bedroom windows faulty. -front door faulty - 4 radiators fell off. -brickwork shocking. -bathroom tiles came off when I was in the bath. -(declined to fix so had to fix and pay myself) PLEASE DONT GO WITH GLEESON. ITS NOT WORTH, the hassle, time and money wasted. My site has had about 4 site managers. With these problems they lied about someone having a “7 hour check” on the house. Mine was actually missed. There was only 3 houses built at first and couldn’t be bothered to check mine. I was away with work and family members had to grab the keys. They didn’t realise they had to check the property with great detail. It’s a shame, everyone in my estate is complaining and nothing is being done.

From Start to finish they were with us

We're at Beacon Park Skelmersdale, under the wonderful watch of Karen, Who, yes, is a sales rep, but for us has been our Gleeson go to. The search for our new home began in early 2021. We visited many of the other developers, but Gleeson's advisors were by far the best. We settled on the development of Beacon Park, Skelmersdale. The home's advisor Karen was a pillar of strength and a wealth of information throughout the buying experience, and we had our fair share of ups and downs. Karen was never pushy and always put our best interests first. In fact, without Karen, we wouldn't have bought the house we really wanted!We moved in and generated our snag list. I'm going to be truthful with you. The list was long, about 20 in total. Plus, we moved into the development about six months into the development, and it was busy, which we expected. If we had any issues with the work on-site, we spoke to Karen, and the issue vanished. A few Jobs we had were taking longer than we would have liked, and Karen put us in touch with the wonderful Kit (Gleeson's problem solver). Kit would go above and beyond to get workmen to fix our issues, and now we have about three outstanding jobs. It's important to know that as soon as Gleeson found out there was an issue, they accepted the repair without issue and fixed it without complaint. Gleeson could have argued the fault of some of the jobs, but they never did.Every Friday, we have a large road hover come to clean the road of mud and stones, and the weekends have been silent. It's essential to listen to the Gleeson reps as they tell you what you need to do if you experience any issues. Let's face it, guys, if you're buying a house with hundreds of thousands of parts, you will have some snags. It's also worth noting that any issue we have had has been with a third party, not Gleason, and as soon as Gleeson knew of the issue, Kit rectified it. Overall I can say we have had a great experience. I would highly recommend Gleeson,Karen and Kit, Thank you 🙏

Our house on Carrwood park

We reserved our plot at Carrwood park in May 2021, completed mid April 2022, we didnt have the smoothest of journeys with delays, some issues and sales people and at one point we made the decision that we were going to pull out of our sale. However we had a meeting with Daisy one of the Senior sales executives who really pulled it back for us, she took on board our concerns and sat down with us for nearly 2hours to go through everything with us, nothing was rushed and she pretty much started from the beginning and made sure we knew litually everything. Daisy stayed in touch for the rest of our journey and even rang to say sorry as she was on holiday when we completed. Daisy showed us genuine care, compassion and took the time to get to know us and know what we wanted/needed. Being first time buyers we knew litaully nothing but nothing was ever a problem or too much for her. We went to her for litually everything and she answered all our queries, questions and worries in hours, (she always apologised if it was any longer) we understood that she has loads more to do so appreciated that she took time out to answer things for us (even the really small things). Daisy deserves recognition for her professionalism, caring nature and friendlyness, we can honestly say she was the reason we decided to carry on with our sale, she made us feel so much better about everything. Debra was with us during the last few weeks too, again she was really friendly, and didnt rush us at anytime, she did our home demo and completion and was brilliant. Our house has snags and issues, like you would expect from any new build. But Gleeson just dont seem to want to deal with them, our toilets leaking, the finish on the paint work is terrible! (Litually Stevie Wonder would have done a better job) theyve dripped gloss down the walls and the gloss is so thick on the windowsills its bubbled and looks awful. The finish of the house is just a joke really. If the review was based on staff it would be 5! But as its as a whole we cant overlook the house.

Just reserved my home with Gleeson. I am so excited to say the least. My journey searching for a new home has been tiresome, stressful and never ending (with other companies) promised call backs and consistency which I have not received. Gleeson have given me just that, handholding along the way, keeping in touch with me, updating me with every detail, which is all I’ve ever wanted! Everyone has been so helpful from Amara, Tina, to the mortgage advisor and solicitors. We do not recommend !!! There were many corrections at home, still a lot they did not. Dirt, water, rubble, rubbish, stones in front of the house is terrible !!! Silence they don't do what they should say and that's it. They block on Facebook, delete my photos, do not respond to emails. They lost our keys, replaced the locks after 2 months, damage to the house from December to today, cabinets, doors, fungus, etc. a lot of it !!!! No no no, I'm worried what it looks like in front of the house, a nightmare !!!! We do not recommend Gleeson !!!!

Our gleeson experience

We are more than happy with our gleeson home, we reserved in february 2021 and moved in later that year on our expected date. We were kept very in the loop with our sales lady Karen who is an absolute asset to gleeson, I feel like without her this experience wouldn't have been as heart felt and personal as it was. When we moved in we did have issues I think you have to expect some sort of issues whether it's a new build or an old build but our issues were fixed in a timely manner except 1 which was irritating as it took 2 weeks i felt like there was no urgency to resolve this by site but the sales office and manager paid for an alternative until it was solved. We love everything about the style home we picked we have a huge under the stairs storage space and can even turn the bulkhead area into inbuilt wardrobes. Our garden is a good size for us, as is the house. My favourite part is our kitchen and picking what we wanted, I think I changed my mind 5 times in total so Karen Is a god send for allowing me to go back so often haha. Karen took care of us all the way through this experience whether it was good news or bad, weekly updates sometimes more as it felt she was just as excited as we were. Personally I have a lovely relationship with Karen and will be heartbroken when this estate is finished and she has to leave. I do think your experience with gleeson is dependant on area I've heard of many people with lists of issues not being sorted yet I'm very grateful ours hasn't been bad and I believe alot of that is due to Karen. We have our own 3 car drive way, we are allowed sheds within a certain size and have been blessed to have lovely respectful neighbours. My overall experience is great, I have referred several other people to buy with gleeson my brother is due to move into his house in April which is exciting. All in all I would suggest gleeson to friends and family especially any site where Karen is involved I think every sites needs Karen haha.

So I have bought a Gleesons Kerry at Linkswood Park in Rotherham. I move in April. The customer service I’ve received from the sales executive Christine has been above and beyond! She’s always answered the phone and my emails to the best of the her ability. She’s always very informative! I’ve always received photos of my house showing me the progress. The house looks amazing from what I’ve seen so far! The craftsmanship of the work looks very good. I’m so excited to move in! I would definitely recommend buying from Gleesons!

So happy with our new home on the Greencroft development. Sales advisors Dianne, Natalie and Lisa were fab and kept us informed every step of the way, always helpful and friendly sending pictures and updates. Since moving in we have dealt With Dave and Andy who again could not be more helpful. We onlyHad a few minor cosmetic defects which were resolved quickly and efficiently, and they always say hi whenever passing and checking all is ok! The site despite being under development is clean and tidy and I would recommend Gleeson to anyone looking for a new build home.

Moved into our new home back in December and I have fallen completely in love! Sharon has been nothing but the best in helping us throughout the whole process, and we cannot thank her enough!
