Always in touch and persistentI didn't end up buying with Fox & Sons but they were one of the only agencies out of the several I was in touch who constantly followed up and kept trying, even when I kept saying no to places I visited. Sometimes the properties they suggested really did not match my criteria, but this was better than other agencies who would show you one property then disappear if you didn't like it.

what a bunch unhelpful lot they are I put in a offer on a property and they refused to forward the offer on until I went to the office to see their Broker I had a Broker already they kept on saying we need to see if you can afforded the property 1) yes I can wouldn't put offer in if not 2) I had been though this with my Broker and had the Mortgage in principle also told them to call him and they didn't the property has been reduced twice has the vender thinks he property is not selling they just not telling him the full story I think I am in 2 minds to go and tell him what's going on

Completely incompetent from start to finish at Hastings branch. Nothing was ever the estate agent’s responsibility. We ended up wasting weeks on a purchase being told that documents and safety certificates etc were ‘imminent’. Nothing ever transpired so we eventually had to pull out having lost £1k on solicitors fees and surveys. I asked for a formal way to make a complaint, but my email was simply ignored, hence this review.

What can I say about this Estate Agent, nothing complimentary that's for sure. We received no feedback from them after viewings what so ever, I had to constantly call them. They arranged an open day for our house so we went out for the day, they failed to lock my back door. Shoddy! After the open day, still no feedback until I waited a few days and called them. The only other viewings arranged by them did not even fit in with the times I had advised would be convenient, so it meant I had to change arrangements with my dog walker at short notice. On one occasion they called to confirm a viewing that I knew nothing about! We then saw a property we wanted to view in Bexhill, even though we had been told Fox and Sons had this vast network of agents throughout the UK we could not be found on their data base, even though we were registered with their Crawley branch. After viewing this property we made a full asking price offer. I left a message on Fox & Sons Crawley answerphone to let them know we had made an offer, which had been accepted in principle and asked if someone could call me on the MondaY. No-one called, I had to call them yet again. I took this opportunity to ask the manager why we were not on the Bexhill database, only to be told, "it was probably someone who didn't know how to use the system" I also asked what they could do to get some viewings or if there was any marketing activity they could do to help get things moving, bearing in mind we really wanted the property in Bexhill, the response was "it's all about the price and that a reduction would need to be substantial" Having since had several other estate agents to give us a market appraisal, they have all valued our property at £10,000 less than Fox & Sons did. it would seem to me they tell you the house is worth more to get your business, then when nothing happens they make you reduce the price. Trying to move home is stressful enough without having to deal with people who quite clearly are not fit for purpose! I would never use this agent again, even to the point where I am looking to buy a property I won't even consider it if it is up for sale with Fox and Sons, the house we had liked so much in Bexhill and had our offer agreed in principle, then appeared on Rightmove a few days later with Sold STC across the advert. No-one even had the courtesy to call me or send me an email to let me know. Poor service seems endemic in this company.

GoogleA warm welcome, open to listen to my needs and fears, honest guidance about pros and cons, no pressure but keeping me regularly in the loop with information and progress. I like a straight story, good or bad and that's what I'm hearing. Honest 'I don't know/will find out.' rather than guessing or making it up has been very much appreciated. For mortgage advice tell them 'Kathleen recommended that I speak to Toby 😃'

Crawley branch, , We went on the market with them , they never showed up to viewings , our viewings also never showed up and although they found a buyer we did all the work/viewings and they never chased or called or in fact communicated with anyone - when I complained they said I quote - our fee is not for good service it’s for finding a buyer only

I would especially like to mention Devon who has gone above beyond to get our exchange and completion pushed through she is a credit to there team! GoogleThe service we received was terrible.We paid £210 00 for additional specialist marketing .The photographer arrived late took the photos.After several phone calls nearly 2 weeks later we received details of our property to be authorised. The photos were not that good but the discrption was not my property . I decided to go with another estate agent.I emailed Fox and Sons compaints department.No reply yet .

GoogleWe only had contact with one of the team at Fox & Sons Kyle Logan, and were very impressed at his professional approach and concern for meeting all our needs. If the rest of the team follow suit and follow his lead I'm sure the marketing and sale of our home will be a faultless experience.

They have not communicated or contacted us with weekly reports. They have not discussed why they are not booking any viewings. The photos of our property were of poor quality. They have not provided the service promised or any kind of service in attempting to sell our home. I would not recommend them to anybody.

Staff at their Gosport office very friendly and helpful but when it comes to sorting problems a absolute disgrace. We rented from them and gave a list of items that needed doing in the flat and none of these were ever but right. We have now been waiting four weeks for the refund of our deposit even though the landlord has authorised the full payment.Wouldnever use them again.
Where the same review appears twice we show it once. We leave out reviews that name another agent or another of the brand's offices.
