I’m so very glad we sold our property through Barnard Marcus, and in particular with the amazing help from Feroza, who was our agent overseeing everything. We ended up having quite a tricky sale (solicitors / freeholder) and Feroza was just excellent in making sure every problem that arose was dealt with so that things could keep moving forward. We would 100% recommend Barnard Marcus to sell a property. We engaged Barnard Marcus to sell our property in June this year. We met Feroza one of the agents at our property to start proceedings 2 days after ringing. Everything was arranged so quickly and efficiently. Within days we had over 10 viewings booked and sold our property straight away. I cannot thank Feroza enough for all the support she has given us especially with the Internet paperwork. We would not have completed any of it without her support and encouragement. Coming to the house to support us many times on her way home from work and always at the end of the phone. We consider ourselves extremely lucky to have been allocated Feroza for our sale. Complete waste of time. property was valued at £600k-£650k by Barnard Marcus who then suggested their modern way of selling property with Iamsold. they agreed with valuation but said put it on less for £550k to get the interest and in 28 days you will have an offer(s) and that will take a further 56 days to complete. perfect. heard nothing from them had to chase constantly. they had 2 viewings and an offer of £475k explaining that as it was an auction you will get people working like its an auction so wanting to offer less. the opposite of what I was told at the beginning. he then suggested dropping the price to £500k 30% less than what it was valued at. I said lets cancel it then where he then informed me I had agreed a 2 month agreement & has mede me stick with them for the 2 months on something we are miles apart on. yet it was a 28 day auction so why make me sign for 2 months. complete and utter waste of time. anyone can sell £1 for 70p thats easy. choose your agent wisely, the quality of an agent changes area to area as well so make sure you do your homework. from my experience Iamsold wasnt the right route for me & has been unprofessional and a complete waste of time. I now have a property thats been advertised for less than its worth for 2 months. what a nightmare. UPDATE:surprise surprise an email trying to justify their position. shows me a 1240 sq ft extended 4 bed house in finished condition for £575k...My property is 5 beds & 1840 sq feet so going by The sq footage should be at £840k in a finished condition & they are tring to get me to reduce to £500k. SHOCKING !!

Had a great experience with Barnard Marcus. We became lifetime members when we bought our house, and so used them again to sell, and glad we did. They were happy to listen to our suggested asking price, and gave good feedback and ultimately got it sold with a fairly quick turn around. I was particularly impressed with response times, as at no time was I left in the lurch about progress, viewings, feedback etc. James was a wizard, and I think secretly enjoyed doing the viewings so he could play with the cat. I do not understand these people. Had a viewing of a property on 26/May I liked the property. I called the office next working day. I was told by the manager to see their adviser. Did that next day Everything went well, made an offer I was told they would contact me. I rang after 3 day to find out the property is gone. “I was told I was late to make an offer” makes no sense, late by one day?. Least they should have told me some one has put a higher offer, I might could have matched it or not who knows.

We regret using Barnard Marcus, staff been rude, there was a situation where we've been shouted at, we've been lied to two ocasions and we learned it's NOT estate agent rolli to update you with your sell (we had to pay 5k), when complained in the head office were been told agent ONLT have to find the buyer, nothing else, had to do everything ourselves pretty much... but the HIGHLIGHT of entire experience was when AGENT left our FRONT DOOR WIDE OPEN (thanks Robin) Pleasant experience: There mortgage is brilliant, focused and professional.Glenn is a Top Man Manager: Carries professional, she knows what she's doing, apologetic after every issue we had with them, it was just to many... Update. They passing your personal details to 3rd party companies, someone just called pushing new broadband and landline. When called the agent saying I'm not happy about that been told that's standard procedure... Apparently no data protection with them.... Highly unhappy

Both Vezir and Ali showed incredibly poor customer service, I have dealt with other branches of barnard marcus and found them to have excellent customer service, perhaps this branch has bitten off more than it can chew. they do not respond or call you back when they tell you they will, you have to constantly chase them even after putting an offer in to get any information and they do not respond to emails or calls at all sometimes. I would recommend avoiding this branch at all costs. I put an offer in on a property which was ultimately unsuccessful, throughout the offer process they promised to give an update the next day by a certain time even if there was nothing to update or the seller was still thinking, they never did call and i had to call multiple times and wait hours before they got back to me. they similarly promised me multiple times to send other similar properties for viewing after the unsuccessful bid and i called and chased to be sent these properties multiple times both via phone and email and they were never sent or responded to
